Adding on to what was said about the pylon, what makes it so great is that unlike so many other units at a similar price segment, the Pylon doesn't really mess up in key areas. The protections work (which is a point where a lot of other budget units fail,) the components, while not high end, are decent enough that they're unlikely to fail within the warranty period, and it has independent regulation. There are cheaper 80+ bronze, 650W units, sure, but it's rare for units at this price range to not mess up in one of the aforementioned points, and in a budget PSU, that's what really matters. It's not flashy, it's not modular, but it _is_ reliable enough to handle a midrange setup comfortably.

It's not much of a budget GPU at all. Prices were at their best when the 30 series was announced. Got my 2070 Super for $400. Amazing time. Glad I didn't miss the boat on that opportunity.

@@potatogamingv_8301 a period of deals that we will most likely never see again. I was sniping auctions the best I could until I could get an RTX card. Before that, I was using an RX 580 8gb. I sold that one way too low.
Great realistic review considering the current situation! The Hellhound is $360 or $30 more than the base Fighter version.
This was a great combination and the rx6600 is a good price here now and combined with that i3 it is amazing

Zack I have an important question because no body I have asked can actually help me. I purchased the exact 6600 card brand and type that you have and for some reason it will only draw 100 watts. Its rated for 132 and the hellhound variant should actually use more than that. What does your rx 6600 draw during a wattman stress test?
Were you able to close the side panel with that tower cooler? any clearance issues? Looks really tight.

hi, really like your videos, thanks. I am having the same Antec case too, and am wondering whats the clearance for the height of the CPU seems to be? According to Antec, it's max 150mm, but the ID Cooling cooler is taller than that. Am currently using the Cryorig M9A (awesome cute little cooler btw) for my R5 5600, but i am planning to use the DeepCool AK400Digital for my upgrade to the R7 5800X3d. Do you think the Deepcool would fit in this casing? Thanks again and keep up the good work
Hi Zach, just came across your video today because i wanted to see a review of the Antec NX200m case. Turns out i watch the whole video not only for the case, and getting interested on the ID Cooling SE 224 XT. But i notice that the cooler is a little bit taller than the case? Or is it only my eye? Is the cooler going to fit if you close the glass panel by any chance?
I already talked to suppliers. They placed these orders 90 days ago. Once the current stock is gone, the suppliers are going to raise the price to $400+. Get it if you can at $330. The XT was $379 and then the suppliers dropped the bomb on them.
I bought this for $388 and thats including California sales tax. Complain all you want about scalped cards but this is still a great "budget" gpu

I paid around $440 including taxes. Note: GPUs were usually $25ish USD more than MSRP in my country, so not bad at all.

I am waiting for my own Antex NX200M. How many MM is the ID CPU cooler height? Antec support says the case only supports 150 MM. Is the ID cooler 154? Is there room for a few more MM to fit a 157? I gotta know!!!

You could do a Decent gaming PC for $1000-$1200 with this GPU at $459 or $479
I'll go a bit over that If I find a Decent GPU from the Next gen for the Price 3060 3060 ti are going online right now that is more powerful by pairing it with a 12th gen I7

Just picked up one of these and plan to slot it in an hp tg01-0023w. Should be a good upgrade over the 1650 super and will hopefully come in under the power requirements. Worse case, since i got them both at msrp i can sell of the 1650 super, motherboard, case, and psu of the hp then i can use the profit to get a new motherboard case and psu which may even give me extra features.
Hey I just ordered one of the tg01 that has the ryzen 3 5300g and rx5500, how is the performance on yours?
@@GrayTorment my specific model was the ryzen 5 3500 6 cores no smt with a 1650 super and it works great. I can get really close to a 60fps average in watch dogs legion 1080p low with certain settings turned up. Im not sure how yours will perform with a next gen ryzen 3 and amd gpu but as long as you got it for a decent price then it was a good choice.
Have the same PC with the 3600, 32GB DDR4, XFX 6600, and it runs worse than the 1650S that it replaced.
@@zeroturn7091 Make sure you have properly tuned the 6600, otherwise it wont use nearly as much power as its supposed to.
Got the hellhound card at micro center yesterday :)
How much was it yesterday. I bought mine today at $449. Wanted to get a second one for my second unit but they won't allow it until another 30 days at microcenter. By then it will probably be over $500.

If you can get one around 500 is ok, but 600 isn't worth, you can get the 6600 XT for about 630.

Can you actually install an ID cooling se 224xt cooler in this antec case. i remember seeing the case cooler clearance listed as 150mm and the cooler height is around 154mm. Does it fit? Tia
I think Antec has incorrect CPU cooler max height on their website. It looks like the tempered glass door would be able to close. Would have liked to see that in the video.

Yes, it will work great. You will get some more FPS with newer CPU but that is a fairly good balance.

supply and demand. then market manipulation and inflation. reality is it is worth what ever some is willing to pay for it. just looking at todays newegg suffle, 3060 is at 510.00, 3060 ti : 600.00, 3070: 780.00 and 3080: 1100.00. Yesterday newegg was having a special for a gtx 1050 ti for 275.00. Nothing today is what it should be.
