That is actually Senna. Lucian's partner. Star Guardian is set in a parallel universe. So the Jinx here is not the same as the Jinx from the main universe, same goes with Senna, Xayah, Rakan and the others.

@@SpartanandPudgey The same goes for all characters. They all have normal champion lore, but all skins have their own parallel universe lore. So Xayah and Rakan have a different story in the Star Guardians universe
One thing to note, Star Guardians is a Skinline for the game, you can take the skins as different multiverse for the characters. So basically, yes, she is Senna (and there's other characters you know, like Jinx), but not the one of the original League universe.
Every year we get new events that brings new skins and even new characters to join the Star Guardians groups (This year we got a whole new generation (the ones that are recording the blog minus Xayah)
Lulu (green outfit) and Poppy (blue outfit) are yordles ! ^^
star guardians world is a parallel universe with the same champions but with different life, fate and backstory, you can see that they live in a modern world, it's like the multivers in marvel, in league of legend thre is a univers where the champions are star guardian, a univers where champions are singers and stars where there is kda and true damage and maybie other champions, a univers in space like guardian of the galaxy and maaany more
So the star Guardian event 2022 is currently happening in LoL, possibly in Wild Rift expanding the lore and universe and adding more champs to the magical roster. Star Guardians has been one of Riots most successful skin lines along with K/DA, Spirit Blossom and PROJECT.
The entire Star Guardian line came from the original Lux's skin in 2015, Star Guardian Lux, styled after the anime "magical girl." This skin was Lux's most popular skin for a long time (until Elementalist Lux). Because of the popularity of the "magical girl" trope and the uniqueness in game, Riot hosted events, expanded lore and released skins in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022.
2016: Had a team with original Lux at the helm in Burning Bright. The added new skins were Jinx, Janna, and the yordles Lulu and Poppy.
2017: Added more skins and greatly expanded the lore and depth with new extensive lore and literature in LoL's new Star Guardian section. The skins: the fox-vastaya Ahri as the leader, Miss Fortune, Syndra, Soraka, and Ezreal, who became the first male Star Guardian skin. However, Ahri had lost three former teammates represented in the 3 broken stars she holds in "A New Horizon."
2019: The "Light and Shadow" cinematic shows the lost chameleon-vastaya Star Guardian Neeko, being chased by her former companions, the now corrupted Star Guardian bird-vastaya Xaya (zah-yah) and Rakan (rahkaun). All three are the missing companions in Ahri's first team, believed to be dead. Xayah and Rakan have been already corrupted by the ancient, evil Zoe who is now trying to corrupt poor Neeko. Ahri intervenes to save the companions she thought she had lost.
2022: "Return to Valoran City" was the teaser for the event that is currently occurring. There is an in-game roleplaying minigame that progressively unlocks more cinematics for players; the Senna vlog is part of this. Akali, Kai'Sa, Sona, Taliyah, Rell, Quinn, Nilah, and Ekko joined the ranks of Star Guardians. Fiddlesticks and Morgana got villain skins.
The song composer of the Light and Shadow cinematic is Hiroyuki Sawano, the same composer of the 3 seasons of Attack on Titan.

In light and shadow, Xayah and Rakan were corrupted by Zoe (the evil girl with the portals) and that's why they were helping trying to corrupt the shapeshifter.
the last one is connected to the current star guardian event in 2022 so it links with the other videos you'll see in part 2

I second what some folks have said about watching or reading a lore breakdown so that you guys have a better idea of who's who and what's going on. I understand wanting to go in 'blind', but for story driven events/cinematics like these, I think having the right context is half the fun.
oh and another fun fact! This entire concept is based on the Magical Girl aesthetic in anime and games! so stuff like Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura etc.

I was furious with the last 2 orders, but then i realize "part 1", well can't wait for part 2
ok star guardian lore is huge, so I try to make it as short as possible.
so the first star guardian cinematic just is about Lux and her team, they are new starguardians who protect the universe from darkness, they are pretty naiv and other that fighting darkness and some conflict with jinx and the group there is no much to say. the 2nd one is about Ahri, she was the leader of a starguardian group with Rakan, Xayah, Miss Fortune and Neeko. They fought against Zoe and only Ahri and Miss fortune could escape while Miss Fortune thought that Rakan, Xayah and Neeko died in the battle, Ahri new that atleast Xayah wasn´t dead, but she feared to lose Miss fortune aswell and new there was no way to safe Xayah, therefor she lied to Miss fortune and escaped with her. She then gathered a new group of starguardians and since then she doesn´t fight only to protect the Universe but other Star guardians aswell. The 3rd cinematic is the reveal that Neeko didn´t die, Rekan and Xayah got killed by Zoe, but got revived and corrupted by her. Zoe was a member of the first ever existed group of Starguardians. She know that all Starguardians share the same fate, they burn bright, until they burn out and turn into monsters. That´s why Zoe wants to kill and corrupt all Starguardians, but the others don´t know that. So Zoe tries to kill neeko with Rakan and Xayah who are corrupted, but Rakan knows that he is doing the wrong thing and tries to stop the corruption happening in Xayah by absorbing it bit by bit. In the fight Neeko is close to lose but then Ahri comes and safes her, making their escape. Xayah feels again betrayed by Ahri and therefor Rakan, Zoe and Xayah go to Valorant City, where Ahri and many other star guardians life in an attempt to kill and corrupt them all. Now there come 12 chapter of novel and after that happens the last Cinematic you saw. Rakan is gone which you will read in the novel what exactly happended and Xayah is no longer corrupted. She found a new group of Starguardians being Seraphine, Senna and Orianna. Together they try to find and safe Rakan. This is the story of the cinematics you saw, hope you read the novel before uploading the next part, because it makes it easier to explain all the stuff without the fear of spoiling ^^´
Finally someone reacting to the vlogs
just to put confusion out of the way, skin = cosmetic (aka color swaps/costumes for your characters in game)
events like spirit blossom, sentinels of light, and now here star guardian are all to promote said cosmetics.
yes, star guardian is basically what if league of legends but sailor moon.
in burning bright, there are characters you have already met:
- jinx, she has the red hair
- lux, the pink haired one, which you also saw in the warriors vid where she summons a huge golem
- poppy, the blue haired one with the hammer, you saw her in a sentinels of light cinematic
the ahri animated trailer also showcases few faces you have seen already:
- ahri, the nine-tailed fox lady, who you also saw a glimpse in the end of kin of the stained blade (where yassuo and her are in the boat, which is a teaser for the game ruined king). you also saw her skin in the ionian myth, and as you can guess, she was the kitsune/fox that was guiding yone (or the character that yone represents in the skin)
light and shadow is quite an emotional story and you may only get some of that in that cinematic. anyways rakan and xayah were there, the two characters you got introduced in the beginning of this video. they are basically corrupted, that's probably why you got confused. along with neeko, the shapeshifter lady, rakan and xayah were former team mates of ahri. which is also why she was there.
return to valoran is the latest, star guardian event is the current event in riot's three games: league of legends, wild rift, and legends of runeterra. they probably want you to see that just cause animation and music lol.
the vlog one is i believe the third video, i don't know why they made you watch that first, they released three video shorts on youtube, the order is: seraphine, orianna and senna. and yes, that is senna, wife of lucian, but as a star guardian (lucian is currently not on the skin line, plus she is younger here due to star guardians being mostly students)
also sorry i was not able to provide some summary to the story of star guardian, i only know the gists and so i don't really have the proper summary for them. but i do think if you have time you can read their story in the official site. people has said how sad the story of star guardian is, and the next music video that you will probably watch in part 2 made lots of people emotional not only cause of the music or the lyrics but also cause of what the story was about.
that was senna in general with the star guardian universe they pick whichever character they think fit in the star guardian lore and bring them in that universe the trailer was for wild rift league of legends phone versions cause of rakan gave himself up for xayah and purify her of the corruption from zoe so senna seraphine and oriana blue hair girl are going to help her find rakan and defeat him and purify him too also in that event you see xayah old teamates join too ahri and sarah (miss fortune)

Star Guardian stories are a different universe or dimension than Arcane story. A lot of the in game skins have their own story - star guardian is a line of skins in League. Having said that, Arcane did have a small Star Guardian Jinx easter egg. You can probably look it up in google or youtube if you are curious enough. (or you can check a video called "Every ARCANE Easter Egg I Found In Season 1!" at min 3 29 they show what I mean. It's just a 5 second tease you don't have to watch the whole video.)
Okay to not be confused. Imagine the MAIN Canon universe is the league we see in RUNETERRA. Then there is a multiverse or alternate universes that the characters are the SAME but in different settings and these are SKINS for the actual champ. For example: Senna in MAIN UNIVERSE is a badass half wraith with a big gun and then she has a alternate version in STAR GUARDIAN UNIVERSE that she's a highschool girl also has a big gun but with a familiar.
Basically SAME characters but in Another timeline, universe, settings.
There are still videos to watch, I think they should watch a video explaining the star guardian universe, to better understand and also watch all the videos of star guardians 2022.

The basic reasons for the teasers and trailers is to hype up the new releases of the alternative stories.
Like me, I am so damn hyped for SG, Pentakill, K/DA, Project, and some others, plus, I haven't play since 2020, so I KNOW there are so many skins I am gonna cry about when I play again.
If you have played or read anything about a LoL alternative universe, and you enjoyed it,then all of teasers, trailers, cinematics, are gone thrill and tantalize you. And get you ready to spend that money the moment Jinx gets a new skin released.

starguardians is more or less an alternate reality to league of legends, all of their skins pretty much have their own universe, and depending on how popular a skinline is like the starguardian one they further push that universe like we are seeing with this starguardian stuff,
part 2 is gonna be emotional at least imo
ok on the first video it xayah but said like ZI-Ya. then theres rakan said like RA-kahn (kinda like form star trek). bth they are loves in league normal. in star guardians i think its implied they are but never said but i could be wrong. and the last thing star guardians are in their own universe. riot has several universes for different skins and stories. this is why some people that are enemies are friends there. its is also why the star guardians universe is so good. it has its own stories that are no where near the normal universe and lets them kill off people (or do something to take them out of the story like lux is a statue now and rakan is thought to be dead by some and missing to others, the porter robinson song).
I feel like you guys completely missed the very first thing you read where it said 'Star Guardians is an alternate universe skin line' lol.
The star guardian universe (and all other alternative skinline universes) are set in a parallel universe to the main timeline universe (where the majority of the cinematics, arcane, etc. Take place).
The characters in the star guardian universe are the league characters from that alternate timeline, so the characters you noticed such as jinx and senna are just jinx and senna from that different universe.
The yordles in the cinematic are the champions poppy and lulu, in the star guardian universe i believe theyre just supposed to be people and no one bats an eye at their differences i think? Its never really explained especially since characters like ahri and neeko have very noticeable tails and stuff that the characters never really question either lol so im not too sure on the specifics but i think theyre just supposed to be people in the star guardian universe.
Also that first cinematic you watched (xayah and rakan: wild magic) is set in the main league universe, the characters do have star guardian counterparts (as you see in the light and shadow cinematic) but that first cinematic isnt related to star guardian at all.

Ahri, Miss Fortune, Neeko (chameleon girl), Xayah, Rakan, and Zoe (kid-looking character) used to be a Star Guardian team many years ago. Zoe fell to darkness and became evil and recruited Xayah and Rakan to her side. Neeko went MIA and was presumed dead. Ahri and Miss Fortune then went on to create another team comprising of themselves together with Soraka, Syndra and Ezreal.

Those are skins, just cosmetics for the characters, that's how Riot gets money, by making and sometimes promoting their new skins by creating a video/lore for them! The skins lore is not canon, but they do have their own separate lore for the fans to enjoy!

Ya'll read the page which said that Star Guardians was an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE in League of Legends, so...when ya'll got so confused about the yordles on Lux's team, and if Senna was Senna, and the other details, it seemed off.
ALL of the "skins universes" are non-canon, totally separate from, detached from the main game's universe. All ya can do is identify who each character is in a new skin line, and remember their powers. Otherwise, you are getting into a whole new world.

i suggest ypu to read the story of the star guardians on the official site of LoL, it's really pretty and you can understand better what's going on in the videos

Well the lure about xayah was she's trying to save rakan because rakan save her when she almost got corrupted so rakan absorb all of xayah corrupted turning rakan into corrupted star guardian and xayah make a team wil orianna seraphine and senna they trying to save rakan

I don't blame spartan and pudgey for being slightly confused. I am a decade old league player and I was always confused by the star guardian stuff. I knew its a skin line based in a whole alternative universe but never connected with cinematics. I did find the story interesting after finally watching a Necrit video detailing the Star Guardians. To be honest because most the content are in short stories I imagine these will be hard to react to. But i thank and send love to Spartan and Pudgey for doing a fair reaction

I don't even know why people want them to react to anything League related. First off they have no idea what's going on with these videos and second off the guy doesn't even like Arcane. Lmao.
I suppose people enjoy the interaction we get with our viewers as they help us fill in the blanks. Secondly Spartan did like Arcane, he just didnt find it revolutionary like most. that doesnt mean he didn't like it.
