It will be good for you to see in chronological order to understand the history. The same is you see animations and the music to see how much evolved but it will be better to separate in 3 categories the videos of lol ,thats only a sugestion but saw them the way you want. XD

Everything is in order and explained well.

what people unfamiliar with the game don't know is that this cinematic is supposed to be a depiction of what a team fight in the game would look like....5v5...and the forest area they are in is the map we play on in the game called ...Summoners Rift...
And New Dawn is really old, from 2013 (but still looks great though, it was mind blowing back then ;p) it was before the "lore rework" ;p back then overall lore barely existed, there were brief champions stories in descriptions, some champs were somehow connected to other, but that's it, nothing close to epic, complex and coherent story we have today.
The one thing that is really quite accurate is using the Ahri to bait the enemy team into the Choke point, Rengar killing the ADC almost immediately, then getting nearly 1v5 by the fed Darius

Pudgey is right, absolution happened after the ruination cinematic, there is actually 4 parts of cinematics connecting the story, so the was a specific order y'all were supposed to watch but it's all good i guess. Love your reactions all the same. Doing a good job as always 😎

You should watch their Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra cinematics
Viego is the king of his kingdom long ago and he met his wife, Isolde, an ordinary dress maker who later became his queen. But Isolde unfortunately died which drove Viego mad and he tried to bring her back to life. But everything went wrong when he tried to revive her which caused the ruination. Isolde's soul was split unto fragments. One soul fragment reside within Senna while the other one went to Isolde's beloved doll, Gwen. Viego was so obsessed in bringing back Isolde that he extended his power aka the dark mist, raising the undead and currupting anyone alive. Lucian and Senna are the last members of an Demacian organization called Sentinels of Light. They recruited a bunch of guys to become sentinels to help fight Viego and the ones he corrupted. First recruit was Vayne, the one with the cross bow and you guys didn't recognize her on the last part of the cinematic because she cut her hair but her iconic red tinted glasses remain. Then Akshan, the Indian guy with a Grappling hook who was a sentinel together with Senna and Lucian (he went rouge for a while before the ruination happened), then Gwen the doll who transformed unto a young woman armed with human-sized scissors and other sewing things, then we have Graves with the giant gun (his the one with the cigar in "A new dawn" cinematic), then Riven, that woman who was in chains in the Awaken cinematic, then Rengar, the lion guy who was also in "A new Dawn" cinematic. Then Irelia the woman with flying blades in Awaken cinematic. And Diana, a literal host to the aspect of the moon (kinda like moon knight.)
To the new viewers like you guys, this might be a pretty epic story. But for those of us who played League of legends for a long time and waited a decade for this storyline to really unfold, this is a great disappointment . . but as always guys, great video. . 😊
Seems cool not gonna lie.
Last thing i read about league was when they are building up Targon history, and recently a bit of Zed x Shen x Jin tale, but never finished. They took some turns that i didnt liked back then so i just stopped (same as league).
But this was when they where starting expanding the world. Lucian x Sena was always a interesting story, but if you say it was a disappointment i dont think i should give it a go. lol
@@axellyann5085 Yeah. . Many people are so hyped when the Ruination event are said to be one of the biggest event especially to those who are fans of the lore. . Many of us were angry coz the cinematic got us like "Wait, that's it?! we waited for almost a decade for this?!". We were so disappointed that time. The execution of the story and everything is so trash. We were hoping that they'll give it a great thought but even the 2 key characters (Mao-Kai and Yorick) that is important in the whole ruination thing is not even on the cinematic or given event skins. . You should watch Dinka Kay to know about the whole fiasco because I might just sound bitchy here. . Ruination is just messy. .

The A New Dawn cinematic sealed the deal for me back in the day. The moment I laid eyes on Rengar I loved him. Been maining him ever since.

Senna and lucian married and are Sentinels of Light, their job is to kinda fight the mist and all that it stands for.
Senna was killed by Thresh (the lantern guy in the beginning of the video) and trapped her soul in his lantern, he has killed many sentinels before amd Lucian vowed to get his revenge and discovered that she is alive and thus the events of shadows embrace unfolded and she gains new powers from her time spent in the lantern. Hope this bit of lore helps..
In the game Senna is the first marksman support type champion.

So the Ruination and Sentinels of Light videos were all lead up to the release of Viego, the Ruined King.
He’s an ancient king who’s wife Isolde, a seamstress, was killed during an assassination attempt. Obsessed with bringing her back, Viego ordered his army to invade the Blessed Isles to use its healing magic to forcibly revive his dead wife. Instead, the whole island and everyone on it became corrupted, now known as the Shadow Isles, a cursed and forbidden place.
Now, Viego has been freed from the Shadow Isles and gained control over its deadly Mist, which allows him to corrupt and control others, like Shyvana, the dragon lady you just saw.
He’s still trying to revive his wife, but her soul has split. Part went into Thresh’s lantern and fused with Senna when she was released (in this first clip), allowing Senna to exist outside the lantern. The other part went into a doll Isolde had previously made, giving it life. It would become Gwen, the girl with blue hair you saw in your other video.
This all culminated in that same video, where Viego claimed both parts of Isolde’s soul to resurrect her. Instead, Isolde helped stop and seal away Viego, saving Senna and Gwen’s life.
I'm guessing you recorded this before reading the comments on the last one, because yeah, Ruination is the first part of 4 cinematics of a in game event, of which you already watched the last one which was absolution.

For the actual "canon" story about Viego, shadow isles and the black mist, in the last video some people including me left a playlist for all the videos involving these regions and events

In case you guys didn't know for the Ruination:
1. The woman and man in Noxus was Samira and Darius.
2. The blue creature is Poppy and she is a Yordle. The adult woman with Poppy is named Shauna Vayne.
3. The woman in Ionia is named Karma. Karma is considered the Spiritual leader of Ionia.
Yeah you guys watched the ruination even out of order, I think its The Climb, Sennas Embrace, The Ruined king game trailer, Ruination, before dawn, AKSHAN, Absolution . for the event order. but there is a few other trailers that explain the shadow isles better that would have given you a bit more info on the undead green characters.
The dragon, Shyvanna, is apart of Demacia's border guard (Which is a little wild as she's a magical dragon lady in a place racist against magic, her stories pretty cool) for this even she is corrupted by the mist and under Viego's control. Vayne(Crossbow lady), hunts magical thing, so she really didnt care either way if Shyv is controlled, she would have killed her for being a "Monster". At the end was Vayne in a new outfit, as this event was to sell in game skins... League is free to play so all trailers are to get people to pay to change their characters skins, for this event it was Sentinels and Corrupted skins
You guys should check out a few of their live shows as well, for example, the 2017 World's Finals Opening Ceremony "Legends Never Die"
Its absurd and you can see how many fans they can pack into stadiums in real life.
It's so inconvenient that you started with the finale🤣 which is probably why y'all so far off, his wife wasn't killed by them, forgot how she died but basically Senna, big gun shielding girl has a part of her soul inside her, like you saw on the last part in your other video he resurrected her but she didn't really want that, he's the only one obsessed lol
his wife was sick and viego wanted to save her so he ordered his soldiers to travel around the world and find a cure. One of his soldiers were Kalista and Hecarim. Kalista found the Blessed isles (shadow isles) but his wife died before telling him. So he went to Blessed Isles to revive her, but things went wrong ( cataclysm).
I remember that Kalista saved Viego from an assasination but the poison blade unfortunately hit Isolde. And she slowly die cause of the poison.
23:50 and 24:11 it's the same person her name is Vayne, Senna and Lucian were giving new sentinel of light outfit to every champion who was joining them
15:48 The funny thing is that Katarina (the red head dagger lady) is actually in a *HIDDEN* relationship with Garen (The meathead broadsword carrying guy from Demacia). It's actually really cute and not a "its romeo and juliet" sort of way
Should watch Pentakill skin debut Music Video. It's a music video they released to introduce a line of in game skins . Same you should watch True Damage's music video (animated hip hop group made from League characters. There are also True Damage skins in game that they made)
Ruination was a whole separate RPG game from League of Legends, but they also released a whole line of Sentinal skins. At the end of the video you got to see Vayne's Sentinal skin for League of Legends ( the girl with the crossbow fighting th dragon).

A New Dawn shows a cinematic representation of your standard 5v5 League game, rather than lore.
Ahri, Leona, Graves, Jax and Rengar vs. Katarina, Darius, Draven, Zyra and Nautilus.
This is completely random, just like how this video got into my rec. but is it just me or the guy looks just like that actor from the show Marvel: Agents of shield? aka Lance Hunter played by Nick Blood.
Charcters- Gold knight girl : Leona, a member of the Solari tribe. She at one point became the Aspect of the Sun.
Aspect= demigod, sorta
The crossbow chick who becomes a Sentinel of Light at the end - Vayne: Monster hunter, due to her parents being viciously killed in front of her as a child
Dude with light pistols - Lucian: Sentinel of Light, has been hunting Thresh(Green baddie with the lantern) because he killed his wife and took her soul.
Senna: ya'll got the gist of her
Thresh: he was an attendant or something for Viego back before their kingdom became the Shadow Isles. He hunts all living people, tormenting them before claiming their souls
Pale ass dude with the big pointy - Viego: "The Ruined King" He was the king of a beautiful powerful kingdom, but when his wife was dying, he did something real dumb, and cursed his land and his people.
Dragon chick - Shyvana: She is actually the bodyguard of Jarvan IV, a king. I don't remember why. I just love playing her. She does indeed turn into a sick ass dragon form. She is corrupted by the Mist in this video.
Red haired assassin chick - Katarina: Noxian badass. Enough said
Fox girl - Ahri: A vestayan, an animalistic race of magical beings. She is tormented by her power to be alluring and hungry. She can seduce someone, a d consume their soul. She hates that, tries to live a good life alone.
Big Axe Guy - Darius: Noxian general. Brother to Draven
Cocky axe guy who gets mauled - Draven: Noxian warrior and Colosseum fighter. Brother to Darius
Giant cute kitty with lots of pionties - Remgar: Vestayan, from a tribe of extreme hunters. Has a cool ass rivalry/story with Kha'zix, a huge bug bastard. Look up the story. Makes for a mini quest ingame.
All I got. Just thought ya'll would be tickled to have a. Idea of these folks going forward. A bunch of them are in a LOT of cinematics.
Ok So I'm gonna see if I can explain this in the best way I can.
SENNA AND LUCIAN’S STORY
In the first Cinematic. This came out to announce the release of Senna as champion in a game which added to so many people's story's that she is involved with.
The Black Mist cursed Senna when she was just a child and it’s continued to attack her from the shadows since. She was saved by Lucian’s father, Urias, who knew that the only way for Senna to live was if she learned how to fight the Mist.
She became Urias’ apprentice and joined his ancient order, Sentinels of Light, “learning to channel her soul into light” with the relic weapon he gave her. But Urias’ life came to an end and she found herself feeling lost and alone until she met Lucian.
Lucian always strived to become as great as his father and follow his footsteps into the Sentinels of Light. But his father wanted to protect him and refused to make him his apprentice, so Lucian found satisfaction safeguarding a city in Demacia.
But his life changed when he met Senna. She introduced herself as Urias’ apprentice when she brought Lucian news of his father’s death. Urias died fighting the Black Mist.
From then on, Lucian’s journey was next to Senna, who thought him the ways of the Sentinels. They continued fighting evil together, becoming closer to each other. But Senna’s curse was getting stronger and Lucian set himself on a mission to save her from it.
And then they found themselves face to face with Thresh. Senna told Lucian to withdraw, but he didn’t listen. And that mistake cost him Senna’s life. Thresh quickly claimed her soul and imprisoned it in his lantern. Lucian’s mission to heal her was over, but now it was time to avenge her.
That's to get a good understanding for their relationship and history. Now Thrash is the green, evil, ghost rider looking dude with the hook and lantern in the first Cinematic
THRESH'S STORY
A brief back story on him is his name was originally Grael. He was a warden monk in the blessed isles. He worked hard to be recognized by his masters but they demoted him to protecting the artifacts. He grew bitter with his position more and more as years went by. He began to like a specific artifact that whidpered ones darkest thoughts. His superior tried to take it from him and demote him but Grael though he was just trying to steal his research.
So he arranged his superior to be killed by a miscategorized artifact so he could manipulate the order into a pragmatic direction.
One day king viego and a fleet of his ships invaded the blessed Iles who wanted to use the Waters of Life to resurrect his wife Islode.
The monks of the blessed Iles refused and viego and his army slaughtered them. Greal took pleasure in this and took it upon himself to lead viego himself to the Waters of Life. The resurrection failed and caused a magical blast to curse the whole of the blessed Iles now known as the shadow isles.
Living there for decades the Black Mist that surrounded the shadow idles corrupted Grael and he willingly succumbed to it which eventually turned him into thresh as we know it. A warden of the black Mist how seeks out to kill people and trap their souls in his lantern where they are tortured not physically but mentally.
Back to the Cinematic
Knowing what we know now you can understand the story there better where Lucian has been trying to avenge his lost wife and kill thresh.
In the Cinematic he finds thresh and confronts him fighting to the death.
Thresh captures him and out of rage Lucian stabs the broken barrel of his guninto the lantern.
The sound from the lantern begin to escape and he has no idea what's going to happen.
The soul of Senna touches the ground amd you see him let down his guard when he realizes she it out of the lantern.
Thresh then tries to attack Lucian from behind but Senna role in game is she is a Support Marksman. (Random fact" she was the first support marksman to be released. Up until this point all support champions were melee or enchanters so this was huge)
Threshs lamp begins to fix it self sucking the souls back in and Lucian grabs Senna to keep her from going back in and is successful in doing so.
Now for the Ruination Cinematic.
Senna and Lucian are making their way through runeterra fulfilling their duties as Sentinels of Light to move to the nearest location where the Black Mist is but like they said in the Cinematic it saved them the trip and came to them
Why?
Viego is actually looking for Senna.
To understand this we have to understand what happened to Viego's dead wife who's name is Isolde.

When Viego was appointed king he fell in love with Isolde with love at first sight. They got married and he focused more on her than ruling his kingdom.
While very romantic his enemies knew this and also knew the kingdom would be an easy target to attack due to his neglectfulness.
A group called the Camavor's attacked and tried to assassinate viego with a poisoned blade. The assassination was successfully foiled, but Isolde was accidentally grazed by the dagger and subsequently poisoned.
That's how she died and the reason why they were trying to resurrect her using the Waters of Life.
So to put it into perspective Viego a man so in love with his wife lost his kingdom and his wife because of it. Tried to resurrect her, failed and cursed the blessed isles as a result of it.
This man can't catch a break.
Not only that but her soul was split into multiple fragments and spread around runeterra possessing various people a things. Two in particular were possessing Senna and Gwen.
Senna was only a child when this happened so she spent most of her life with a part of Isolde in her talking to her and protecting her.
So in the beginning of the Cinematic when her eyes light up and a voice is speaking it is Isolde warning her saying "The Mist is Close. Ruination. Viego"
Senna and Lucian confront viego but knows part of his wife's soul is in senna and his mission is to collect the fragments to attempt to revive his long lost wife who he is still completely obsessed with.
The rest of the Cinematic is pretty self explanatory he withdraws the fragments of Isolde's soul from Senna and begins corrupting people in the surrounding area or I guess ruining them as he's is The Ruination bringing darkness everywhere.
Now for the Ruination Cinematic.
Senna and Lucian are making their way through runeterra fulfilling their duties as Sentinels of Light to move to the nearest location where the Black Mist is but like they said in the Cinematic it saved them the trip and came to them
Why?

If you want to react to some canon stuff, the lore website has comics that were created with Marvel and a ton of amazing short stories. "Where Icathia Once Stood" is just haunting.

I'm actually pissed at viego(ruined king or the guy with a protagonist syndrome) cause he's actually obsessed at his "beloved" wife (Isolde) and cause her death so he ruined blessed isles in search for the Holy water or blessed water but it went bad because of thresh (the dude with a lamp)............ I realized after typing that I almost summarize the story of the first ruination

Then i recommend that you check the Channel: Necrit, he’s sort of THE League of Legends Lore and News Guy, so if there’s anyone who could help understand this in more detail, it’s him, provided that you actually find him interesting that is.

So, yeah. Riot's cinematics are SO many now, if you watch out of order, you'll get none of the plot. They took away the fancy game modes for events, but they get more epic about the video storytelling. Do make sure of the order if ya'll can. Your reactions will suffer massively if you miss the whole point.
