The reason I Got a boy have so many dislikes is because when snsd won the music video awards instead of lady gaga, miley cyrus and justin bieber their fans were in rage and their fans started disliking the video and spreading the hate.

Fun fact: There is actually an ot9 version (japanese version) of catch me if you can with jessica. You can find it on youtube. She was included in the japanese version but not in the korean version because she decided to leave inbetween the production of those 2 versions

The reason why the "Catch Me If You Can" music video was filmed with a seemingly lower budget is because it was only meant to be a surprise gift for the fans at one of their concerts, this was when Jessica was still in the group, but then the whole fiasco happened and they decided to reshoot this with the remaining 8 members (the original is still floating around out there). So this wasn't even a "comeback" per se.

This song was supposed to be a gift for fans who attended their first Tokyo Dome concert in 2014, so the concert was promoted with the phrase and hashtag #CatchGG, we didn't know at the time what catch GG meant but later everything made sense. Unfortunately 9/30 happened and Jessica left, so plans changed and the song and mv were recorded again and released in april 2015 simultaneously on Korea and Japan with a b-side (which you should check out, we think is about Jessica leaving, its name is Girls). Then some drama happened when the version of the mv with Jessica was leaked just a bit before Party, their first comeback as 8, so yeah. You should react to ther Japanese realeases also! They're pure gold.

In the first filming and recording of "Catch Me If You Can", Jessica was part of it. In fact she had the most singing lines. There was a another version of this MV with 9 members that got leaked before, you can search it here in TH-cam. But because she was kicked out of the group, so they have to film another one again. In the version with 9 members, they are happy there especially Sunny. If you watch the other MV and this MV, you can obviously spot the difference. And that part of Sooyoung in the bridge, it was supposedly Jessica and that high note of Taeyeon too was Jessica's part originally.
This is their most lit song literally
The intro scene where in the city lights, SNSD are out of scene, they're like missing or wanted. And the posters in the road is like their wanted posters, that's why the city from the construction are not connected because they're like wanted to be caught but they cannot since the title is 'Catch me if you can'. But the lyrics is in different meaning.
One of the reasons they didn reshoot hyoyeons part with her hair was because they were rushing for the MVs production to make a new version after Jessica was kicked, they have two versions , hope you’ll check them out! 💓
This MV was shot quickly cuz the original MV had Jessica in it and this single was released just after she left. So there may be some things that seemed unseemly. You probably still can find the original MV somewhere

My first kpop group!
The thing is this mv was a present for Japanese Sones (fan name), they made a Korean version to hype Party, Lion Heart & You Think. I think that's the reason why the video doesn't seem to have a big budget. Also, they were planning to launch the mv the day of their Tokyo Dome Concert, but that's when SM kicked out Jessica, so they didn't launch it, made a new mv without Jessica (you can find it with Jessica) for the Japanese version, and decided to make a Korean version.

The MV budget being somewhat minimal is because this song was not supposed to be released as like a comeback. This song was supposed to be only released as a gift in their Tokyo Dome concert tour, as the Japanese version is the original version of the song. And they kinda already shot it with 9 members, and they had to re-take this MV due to Jessica's departure.
Jessica filmed this mv but they refilmed it when she left and there is a version with her in it and the reason there is so many dislike is because people were hating on Girls Generation because of the Jessica Controversy
