Five people died and I knew 3 of them still recovering from the tornado but probably going to haunt me for the rest of my life we had a moment of silence at the square last night, that really got to me because one minute is all it took to destroy a whole town, and now when i here a tornado siren i will always think back to may 21, 2024 the day that changed the way I think of life.
Correction - 3 p.m. is NOT night. Advance warning by national weather system resulted in school letting out early - so no kids or school busses were on the road. Thank you.

There will always be a Casey’s within twenty miles when in Iowa. No storm is powerful enough to change that.
I don’t know what that feels like, but I’ve been in one. I feel very bad and one of my dad’s coworkers lives there and they lost their house as well.
