Like all serial killers, he is a coward. He purposely went after petite women and backed off when another man checked him. Randomly mentioning his height and weight was a ruse to make him appear confident.
He is a predator. Predators are checked by confident parents, husbands, etc.
The height thing is cute at around 6ft...or even 6ft 2.
Beyond 6ft2 it gets too much..and folks are seriously intimidated by it.

@@CashCowz962 yeah my brother and partner are both over 6'4" but they're gentle giants. They have to deal with issues like low ceilings and large show sizes which are hard to find. It's the same for really tall women, although you're less likely to be attacked you have a range of other issues to face throughout your life. And yet generally we all want to be tall lol.

I have a buddy who is 6'8" and 240. I never told him my numbers, and I never asked his.

This man is reprehensibly evil. Poor girls were brutally treated as just trash.
Not just by him but by the former police chief too - they were prostitutes so "who cares" was overall attitude of the orginal cops / detectives who had this case. I've been following this for years and it goes way back. Suffolk County police chief Burke was corrupt asf and was even removed for said corruption. You should look into it all if you can stomach it. Though I warn you - it's pretty disturbing, disgusting, and over all disappointing the way this was handled for many many years.

We must have ESP, because I thought the exact same thing. Yeah, that big safe door was suspicious, considering what the guy is accused of. I was in Las Vegas gambling in a casino and there were hookers propositioning me and wanting to go to the hotel room with me. The neighbor had a lot of interesting observations that we wanted to hear and the reporter was like a small child interrupting his mommy to get her attention. It was beyond rude. If you don't want to hear the answers then don't ask the questions. I wouldn't want a reporter like that at my station. What a jerk!!!

I think Mr. Heuermann weighs quite a bit more than 250. That's a really big, corpulent man. My best friend in highschool was 6 foot 4, very thin, very fine athlete, a runner and a volleyball player. He weighed 231, but it was extremely well proportioned.
I love that video of him walking down the street and then quickly surrounded by police detectives. So sweet..it's been a long time coming. Excellent work to all the investigators and forensic experts and people that called in tips and all the witnesses. No matter what these girls did they didn't deserve what happened to them, they were mother's, sister's and daughter's.

I can imagine he did something inappropriate sexually to his step-daughter. It is odd that he had searches about 8 and 10 year olds and teens. Has that been revealed or discussed?

You really need to be careful...be proactive in protecting yourself and your family...with items to keep you safe, having a fence, speed dial to police, telling others about your neighbors threats, keeping lights on outside at night, and keeping your house/cars locked up!!!

Aren’t these killers cowards when they have to interact in daily, average situations. Serial killers want to maintain a low profile when going about their daily routine of life. They are the natural human predators of our world.
It’s ironic that he was living in a community of police and fire. I’m sure he laughed about it, but not now. I’m so glad the police out smarted him. These things take time, but it’s worth in the end.
