However although I'm "too old" to go back into service I'll still do it. I could not afford to go to college, so I went to work. I do not want to help pay for someones student loan. They borrowed the money, they agreed to pay the loan back, so pay off your own loan. Be an adult.

I paid for my undergrad and graduate school by working, and got a couple scholarships by maintaining good grades.

I believe that research will show only certain people have been chosen. The criteria is CRT and foreign based on DEI students. Not american citizens. Perhaps more research is needed.....
They need to figure out what the median college education would cost, then make the schools pay the difference since they over charged for it anyway. US university endowments were over $800 Billion FY 2022, they can afford it!
Harvard alone has a 50 billion dollar endowment, not including their stock holdings.

Creating a budget passed on your own numbers then making a budget that changes some of those numbers is not saving anything. That is like saying "I will buy a car for $60,000" Then going out and spending $50,000 on a car. This does not mean you saved $10,000. It means that you spent $50,000.
