It’s hysterical to me that I can shoot the revenue agents chasing me in St. Denis and no one bats an eye, but Harriet has a psychic connection to every squirrel in the map.
The best way to play this game in my opinion is to take it as slow as possible. Try to enjoy the struggle of having nothing. I recently made a new character because I really missed playing and the beginning of the game is definitely the most fun to me. I am going to be using stuff that I never would’ve normally used too..(different guns, horses, outfits and roles)…I even chose a female character to mix things up. To me its all about the community and the atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and I almost forgot how amazing of an experience the game has to offer. Even though the game deserves so much more I am still enjoying it so much ❤️
I just bought everything from the catalogue I could in this month and now having struggle of having nothing and not having money to FT to Valentine. 😂 selling meat to survive 😂

I started like a month ago and I love doing the missions in stealth. Reminds me of playing Metal Gear when I was younger. That and the gorgeous looking clothes are my favorite parts of the game so far

Just as a side note, trampling bunnies and fish and hogtying deer before using a knife is my way of keeping Harriet off my back. She complains that she understands I have to eat, but she doesn’t bring out the spray. Which, yeah, getting maced is a minor inconvenience, but I can’t stand it.

Hitting a critical hit (dark red hit marker) and then hogtieing the person saves them. Has worked for me countless times to keep Red Ben alive because of my happy trigger finger. If you need video proof just reply.
i'd love to see how far you can take this lol be a bounty hunter who just goes in, lassos the target, and fucks off without doing anything to their buddies and such. this video kills me, and i absolutely want to try it .. was gonna try it with my current character but realized too late that the first mission REQUIRES you to kill a few people
Magnificent!!! On another note !!! To have low honor you basically can not use your personal horse!! I mean not at all!! You have to steal a horse or wagon. We all know what happens once you brush or feed your horse or any animal
You should have went with Bounty hunter, and just grinded Etta Doyle. The best Gold making mission. No kill required, and you will be able to unlock every other role fast.
I thought being on the roof and waiting and stuff until they leave was patched or something cause for some reason it started to just stop working like it did, the enemys always start shooting now and i havent done anything different than before so just was wondering if there was somethig i am missing since as i said i never had issues doing that before
@@iamthemusicman13Going on the roof? You can still cheese it by going straight ahead and waiting down in the tunnel. Even if you're AFK for too long, 95% of the time you can still run over to where she's sitting on the wagon, barely get in range, and lasso and drag her back to the trap area with nobody shooting at you.

for a toxic game you're doing alright. that's because you're in an invite only session with friends no one to grief you. try doing that in a public lobby
Something I didn’t figure out until a few weeks ago, you can refine your POV, eg you can walk around in first person but be in 3rd person while on a horse without having to manually change it and it feels good
If I had 2 wishes left from the magic genie I found in a bottle, one would be R* moving all content creators and devs from GTA series to RDO instead of the opposite. The second wish would be Cat humming 'Mr. Sandman' in front of an international audience, then blows up into an icon known around the world known for humming classical tunes. It's my first game and I've been playing for months, the Bounty Hunter role isn't even open. I love hunting and walking around, my action-addicted friends have trouble understanding me.
It gets a bit boring trying to lvl up trader and saving up enough gold for the last role Naturalist. I do join fishing and photographing events occasionally. Maybe I should have done more in the bounty hunter, but I feel fine with reinforced lasso lvl. No haste to get to see Harriet yet. This might be the last time I restart with new character (only because next gen and no portability). It was fair enough, but it would have been painstakingly boring without cats guides for beginners. The most fascinating is still those confident beginners that try to shoot higher lvl players 😂
A confident beginner tried to walk up to me and shoot me. It was so satisfying finally to be able to (figuratively) raise an eyebrow and (figuratively) say, “Now, that was your first mistake.”
@@xlittleowlx I enjoy getting bloodthirsty on the poacher missions and levelled up way faster than I expected. Harriet knows who to ask when some humans need slaughterin’. Sedating and sampling a couple of the legendary animals also made a fun challenge while maxing out the role.
@@PVPCat I highly recommend checking out Dakota River Bend server. It’s casual roleplay (just meaning the rules aren’t that strict) the smoothest, least glitchy and everyone is super nice. Can’t wait to see if you make a video. More people should know about the modders that give us what Rockstar didn’t!
I don't know how to play the game and how Rockstar intends us to play it. For example, when I do the bounty hunter mission, if I do it too fast I get no or minimal reward, if I do it slowly and take my time with the kills and eventually tie up my target, a 30 second time limit comes out of nowhere to load the target onto a horse, ride across a quarter of the map to a prison, and shoot other incoming enemies in the process. No, I really don't know how the developers want me to play the game, and they probably don't either.
I used to play alot of rdr online on ps4 and after r* locking it to 30fps it became unplayable. So I stopped playing on ps4 and got to level 240 with 500 gold bars and about 50 000$... But now I have bought rdr2 on my pc but cant get the to same grind anymore.

You don`t need to kill bats. Travel to Elysian Pool and inside the cave the bats will fly into walls and die. Sometimes you get perfect bats
