Thanks for putting out these guides. I just beat surface and underworld fear 32 for the first time with aspect of charon thanks to your tips and set up.
Thanks so much and congrats! Although I'm mostly doing these because of injury I'd like to continue guides in the future. I'm more than happy to put out guides that people want to see so I'm open to suggestions. Really happy to hear I could help even a little bit!
If you get the Morph Selene boon in stage 1, I would recommend trying the Moon Beam Keepsake. Specifically Increasing your polymorph duration and making them exploding sheep serves as a powerful defensive and offensive tool. It's only 50 mana to trigger and there are upgrades in your star path to passively generate your moon meter if you're on a low mana build. This works great in high fear as well.
I did get explody sheep and the upgrade where it pulls them to your cast one time and you're right, it's pretty nuts, even in boss fights. With charon or persephone I can see real cases for picking it with that in mind. Great tip, thanks!
There's a very important thing you said wrong, the vial keepsake doesn't prime any magic when upgrading, so it's essentially free upgrade, IMO it's one of the strongest for early game.
Maybe it came out wrong, but let me clarify here. I realize the vial doesn't prime magick, but what i meant to get across is that players often want to take common boons instead of rare ones because rare boons will prime magick. This leaves you with more common boons by the time you want to take the phial, making what you hit with it more random.
You're right, I was thinking of it wrong. I mixed the effect with Circe's fortune in my head. Still think it's awful though, but same speculation for applying it to some specific level of upgrade is my theory craft to make it work with any consistency.
I still don't think it's fantastic or anything but it could for example activate Judgement which activates more cards after each guardian and you end up with all arcana cards active.

I think you misunderstood what Crystal Figurine does. It doesn't increase the level of an arcana card, it activates one.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it can target cards that require awakening to activate. If it can, then you're right, that would be an insane hit.
@@dexgames7919 It can!😀
@@dexgames7919 It can. I beated 32 fear with ALL arcana cards that way.
