    Hi Peter
    Great review, I’m currently listening to you on soundpeats true engine, which have been good and had 2 years of gym use.
    I did try bone conduction while riding but couldn’t get on with them or listening to music while riding.
    Great review mate, enjoy the rest of your weekend. 🍺🍺

      Cheers Paddy. I’d actually never heard of Soundpeats before they contacted me, so was surprised to see they have so many products! I’m really impressed with them though, so it’s clear that ‘cheap’ and ‘Chinese’ are not necessarily a recipe for poor quality these days.

      @@petertreadway cheers Peter the carb loading is going very well thank you especially as I’ve thrown some complex carbs in the mix in the form of Pringles! Keep up the great work mate. 👍

    A fine review and good to get the 'runist' angle too (although I'm no runner either - except when the dog goes AWOL, which is thankfully very rare). I'm sure it won't be long before you've reached the 1k subs as the channel is coming along nicely with some engaging and quality content. Looking forward to lots more.

      As for running, yeh, I’m definitely happy to leave that to the wife! 🏃🏻‍♂️😮‍💨

    I like Soundpeats.
    Controversial though wearing headphones whilst cycling. I like the idea of those though.
    "I'm out for three or four hours anyway" - alright Mark Cavendish, calm down!
    Spring has sprung!! 11:10. So I finally got to wear a short sleeve jersey today. \o/
    Mrs. Treadway is faster than you mate!
    Great review.

      Yeh, as I said in the video, it did take a bit of getting used to being able to hear music and everything is around me. Definitely a great device if you’re out riding by yourself and want a little bit of entertainment to wile the hours away.
      I’d say I’m more of a Wiggins than a Cavendish though. Just saying! 😂
      And I’m glad you’ve finally seen the light and gone sleeveless. A few weeks too late but good to see nonetheless. 😉
      As for Mrs. T being faster than me, sadly there was never any doubt! 😂

    Maybe I'm a luddite, or maybe I have good sense. But I not only keep my eyes fully open and on the road, but I like to keep my ears fully open and 100% aware of all the sounds around me. So, I don't get this whole isolating one's senses from the road thing (pro racing is a different animal). Sure, you can hear *some* things through headphones like these, but they're still blocking and masking sound. Thoughts, anyone?

    • @petertreadway
      @petertreadway  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was skeptical at first too, but they actually barely reduce the ambient noises around you. Of course, that all depends how loud you have them but if you put them at a volume where whatever you’re listening to is effectively background noise, then they don’t decrease your awareness at all. 👌🏻

      What about podcasts? Do you think they would be loud enough for them?

    • @petertreadway
      @petertreadway  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@andrewpearson4772 I would say generally, yes but with a caveat that it depends on the specific podcast. Some of the ones I listen to can be really quiet and even with in ear headphones I need to whack the volume up to full.
      Generally speaking though, podcasts should be fine.

    Best headphones? None. Listen to your surroundings whether urban or rural

    • @petertreadway
      @petertreadway  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s the point of these headphones. You can listen to both music and your surroundings.
