Never saw this was on here. My mates and me were all wasted at this and were wondering what happened to the bass at the start. Later Ginger made a gag about Danny's harmonies being better than ever cos he had been playing with a dislocated knee!!! We recoiled laughing - it was a classic moment - people still don't believe me when I tell them about it during 'maddest thing you ever saw at a gig' type conversations - Danny's a legend! Cheers for sharing it.
Devin certainly doesn't ruin anything. First 3 minutes when you can hear him loud and clear he sings very good with Ginger. Especially "what have I got to do" parts. "Everlone" choruses are ruined by keyboardist whose mic is too loud and who doesn't sing very good.
There was a point whereby Ginger was entertaining the idea of having another singer on lead vocals. Would've been interesting! Devin Townsend considered this as nothing too serious so it was never gonna happen.
yes he fucking can! although admittedly he isn't doing a good job here but fuck it. dev rocks, and danny is hardcore as fuck for not giving one when his leg gives way. I will have none of this anti-townsend bullshit!
