As a 12 year old I had this set on cassette. My brother recorded it for me off the radio. I must have listened to it x1000 times. It’s amazing finally seeing the video. When they played their first song Danny dislocated his knee so they had to “pop it back in” and he played the set sat on a speaker cab.
Devin has been doing podcasts on all his records during this quarantine time , going in chronological order. He did Infinity the other day, talks a fair amount about Ginger. Worth checking out :)
@gruntshunts123 There were lineups before this though, Ritch wasn't the original drummer. Devin was only ever a temp. Really the most important members are/were - Drums - Stidi/Ritch Bass Danny/Jon Poole/Scott Sorry Guitar Cj/J/Jeff Guitar vocals Ginger
lmao Danny Mc and ur Chrissy knew youd do summit wi yaselfs, good old Shields lads lmao i was backin singer in ermmmmm92 or sumitt .... wtf....i did a 9-5 job haha x
Are we listening to the same performance?... His pitch is perfectly fine here, which is more than you can say about the keyboardplayer and the bassist during the chorus.

Oohh....I was here. Quite near the front. Great gig. Rollins Band and Therapy on after, great afternoon/early evening.
Is there anything Devin Townsend cannot harmonise?
This band is so much fun. The way they mash up genres is great.
And look at mr townsend now,hes fucking brilliant and are the wildhearts
分かり易い、そしてギターサウンドがざらついているところが魅力的な曲
I was there. My band played Suckerpunch the night before on the Crap Stage run by the Gay Bikers on Acid.
This is quite a famous show. This is when Danny's knee popped out and he played the show sat on a crate rather than have the band cancel.
Id love to see Devin and Ginger get together and create something
This is all they've ever wrote together as far as I know, and it's an epic song th-cam.com/video/BcfDxq8Zw5A/w-d-xo.html

The intro to this song is MORE than godly.
Dev's fringe is startling.
Whatever happened to that Devin guy?
The wildhearts rock always have always will

Pretty much sounds like an early version of Punky Bruster. 🤨
I reckon the chorus of this inspired 'Recipe for Bait'!
I was at this gig, still got the 'bootleg' t shirt somewhere.
@gruntshunts123
94, Ginger, Devin, Danny, Ritch and Willie.
Devin! omfg!
Holy Shit!
Genuinely one of THE great intros. Love the song but it doesn't live up to the awesome intro.
agreed.
Oh my fucking lord!
Is it Willie Dowling on keyboards or someone else? They're barely audible whoever it is

Gods, but it's just as well The Dev went bald.
I'm sorry, but Devin can't sing in key.
He's tainting an otherwise great song.
Devin was very raw at that time.
Are we listening to the same performance?... His pitch is perfectly fine here, which is more than you can say about the keyboardplayer and the bassist during the chorus.
Yeah you straight up couldn't have been listening to the same song hahaha.
I've loved the Wildhearts for a very long time, but it's Ginger that can't sing too well. Devin's in perfect tune as far as I can tell.
He's in pitch.
Young devin 😊🤘🏻
