@@marvelous5038 Yep, but still able to citadel a G.K. at 26 km and also got the advantage, that you don't have to use HE to slap DDs. The guns are not the problem here.
@@zagareth4604 Meck guns have ~260mm penetration @ 26km, its not getting through GK's 380mm main belt + 150mm turtleback + 45mm citadel armor at that range. What you experienced is probably plunging fire.
She's got so many guns and such accuracy that AP works on destroyers, but you'll still get overpen damage as all others do.

I was in a Schlieefen, I see a MAINE way out at sea kiting away.. then.. i notice the name is Not_PQ!!!! I could not belive my eyes, I tried to turn hard port to get torps out in his direction and he dev struck me lmao.

Props for being a good sport but there are some lessons to be learned here. There is no need to push so aggressively and get focused down just because you're in a German BB. More importantly WAY too many players in this game get devstruck trying to get torps off, it's not worth it to risk your whole health pool for 1-2 torp hits.
Totally unsolicited advice but you may find the game more enjoyable if you take these things into consideration, and your teammates would be grateful too. :)
@@LaunchpadGP True. Torps in brawling BBs are for a drive-by. You keep angling at 20-25°, keep shooting and let the secondaries work and if you decide to drive-by and your torps are still there (mostly they are not in German BBs), you get them off really close.
Had so much fomo i just reseted the Kleber line to get enough credits for the Maine, And now I'm a proud Papa to a Shiny new T11 BB Maine and the flip side i get 2x R-B points. Thank you PQ!.
But why? They usually take 2 patches to arrive. Jacksonville probably in 6 weeks will be available in auction and then in September patch will be available for credits. If you don’t have credits for the auction - just wait for it. As my friend is saying “the game is not a rabbit, it won’t run away” 😂.

It's not just the gun, I broadsided a Musashi in a Georgia at 3km and got shatters and ricochets. He was maybe 3 degrees off angle but that should not have mattered.
Wouldnt mind seeing a video with some recommendations in the pool of ships that are going to be available to trade to in the next patch , Ive got spare Sims and Tirpitz as well as a CV or 2 I may end up getting rid of , maybe for the Florida ?

Just got her. Lucky for me I already reset the tech tree and just today realized it was available. I built mine secondary heavy as well as Fire and Engine enhancements. First battle was only 130k but it tore up a DD at 10 km and set afire the accompanying Cruiser. 2 Kills with the secondary badge. One Salvo gave a Montana 3 cits and took 35k from him. Very pleased. Turning radius was tough but its a Brawler.
I have the Montana but it’s going to take me another year to get the credits just to buy the ship, not even going to talk about trying to buy all the upgrades

If it is going to take you a year to get the credits don't bother as will take you a second year to get the credits to run the ship.
Superships are also super expensive to run so unless you really good and do huge damage totals or burn lots of credit boosters then going to run out of credits fast trying to run it.
I meant to say “a year” but typing on a phone sucks. It was sarcasm but my point is, it takes such a long time to get credits without premium. Researching the ships is faster then getting the credits

Rodney will be available for purchase in update 13.4 and a 1% drop in the D-Day Premium container.

9:41 - Not quite sure what this Schlieffen was trying to achieve by pushing in on his own here. He's broadside to half the enemy team. Its not like he could have gone very far either. Maybe bow tanked a few of the ships directly in front of him for a short time but but he's broadside to 6 enemy ships.

Tankiness is going to be about the same ngl, a smart devastation is practically unkillable as is a smart maine.
Devastation is the better fire starter by far where Maine is better against broadsides or just AP usage in general.

I find it ridiculous that Devastation also has a 3 sec worse reload base than Maine
Devastation gets access to play reload mod, has absolutely absurd HE throwing power, a super heal that scales to demented levels with the HP it has and it can get up to 6 of them and has 1.9km better detect.
But yeah, its *ridiculous* that it has a worse reload…
Actually it doesn't even have worse reload because you run dispersion mod on Maine while you run reload mod on Devastation

Thoughts when seeing T11 BB on the opposing team:
- Hannover: Probably a German boomer playing in a Das Boot cosplay outfit, either bumrush-suicides or camps in base doing crap all
- Devastation: Will be a bit annoying with fire spam but can easily just go *poof* and be gone
- Satsuma: Either camps in a base with zero battle effect or just casually murders your entire team
- Ushakov: There are no Ushakov for some reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Patrie: Same as Satsuma
- Maine: A bunch of monkeys can make this work while writing Shakespeare, better start praying to Neptune

16:40 You say this while complaining your AA isn't "haha my ships AA says you can't touch me" the irony is not lost on me at least.
Maine AA is something CVs have to be careful about, it will cost them aircraft meaning at the very least once the "new ship syndrome" is over with Maine it is going to be mostly ignored by CVs unless they don't have a better target to attack. I mean if I can get one attack off on your Maine and likely only get a handful of aircraft back, or get two to three attacks off on a Yamato and get nearly every plane back. I'm attacking the Yamato.
I still think superships are as dented as subs and the current CVs. And 3x per team right now is...well, I'm going to play another game for a while.
More braindead unkillable battleships. Taking 10 daring torps and just going on so is so dumb.
