@yvesstocky9936 - one of the Mitsubishi minicab trucks with the fold down bed. I think I posted video of it on my TH-cam channel. I need to get engine work done on it. Had a guy do head gasket for me and never again taking it to him ever. Still leaking into cylinder a little bit. Thought about trying that pour in gasket fix just for the heck lol.

Tyres make SO much difference in those conditions, but the KEI truck makes it look relatively easy.
Knew the Suzuki was a champ but that Daihatsu is a gem on them trails.
Must be crazy sitting over the front axle in that Kei going down a hill lol

Should have never sold my Zuk as that thing was a mountain goat....... but living in Phoenix Metro a vehicle with no air conditioning here makes it useless in the summer....The ZJ i have now is not bad but it has ac.... I like that little truck you show

Off the lot and straight to wheelin off road the samurai with stock dinky town tires will go places that'd make your head spin
They truly are pretty amazing. Mine has the 1.6L and 5-speed from a later Sidekick, Toyota axles, lockers, 5.13s, YJ springs, and 33”s. It’ll 100% climb hard enough to turn itself over, and it’s narrow enough to drive between obstacles the big trucks create (deep mud holes/ruts, etc.). They’re getting hard to find, I might have to go TJ with 35”s next when it’s no good anymore. Or maybe I’ll just TDI swap the Sammie…

Poor Tacoma just isn't a match for the mini.
The Suzuki showed the original WW2 design was already perfect.
It is just today everyone is just being so greedy it is getting too wide, tall, heavy, thirsty and all together losing practicality.
Including being able to be deployed and go through narrow trails
Easily carried by transport vehicles, more vehicles in one transport vehicle.
Ease of use without needing to read a 1000 page manual or pdf on how to change the oil and get it into maintenance mode, right temp and navigate the menu's to electronically read the oil level etc.
The most fun looks like the kei truck.
What size tyres are you using on the Daihatsu please, I have a truck here in the uk and id that a jeep bumper the suzuki is using.

Got my 2" lift and new tires on, adjusted camber, etc and now the poor thing hops down the road like a Bunny Wabbit. Not like just when I hit a bump, it's consistently hopping starting at around 25 kph. New 300# springs on the way but it doesn't seam it will help as I didn't feel the hop on the lift, only once I put on the tires. Any ideas?
Lower the pressure in the tire , put mine to 8psi and helped

Oh, by the way the 300# springs are WAAAAAY too stiff! going back to stock today. Will update.
Went back to stock springs with the new struts and put the spacer lifts back on. It's 80% better.

Nice HiJet! Too bad California wont allow those on the street. Haven’t been to Hollister in years but its cool to see a Kei truck out there. Its so dry!! Everything was green when I was there in 2016
I've seen a few around socal. There's an importer in El Monte and San Diego. They are street legal if 25 years old
@@velonaut4913 California doesn’t have the 25 year rule like everywhere else. That law was frozen at the 1975 model year during Schwarzenegger’s term in office. If you see them on the street in CA they likely have out of state plates.

The Kei is light as a feather 1,800 compared to the Tacos 2,600. The Taco had the wrong tires and a driver that doesn't know how to drive on wet rock. Don't let off the gas till your over the obstacle. He came to a complete stop just before he crested. Rookie.
If you can find info on the KEI truck please reply. I just did a 2 inch lift and unless I make my own lower control arm I have no other idea on how to eliminate the positive camber.
Also the plumbers crack at 6:15 had me rolling.
I'm not sure about kei trucks, but i know for subarus we had to get 2 camber bolts in order to fix the camber on each strut.
