The Suzuki showed the original WW2 design was already perfect. It is just today everyone is just being so greedy it is getting too wide, tall, heavy, thirsty and all together losing practicality. Including being able to be deployed and go through narrow trails Easily carried by transport vehicles, more vehicles in one transport vehicle. Ease of use without needing to read a 1000 page manual or pdf on how to change the oil and get it into maintenance mode, right temp and navigate the menu's to electronically read the oil level etc.

This looks like more fun than 4-wheeling with a $100k rig

Kei Truck micro tire ground pressure is insane.

Japanese don't use it for off-road use like we do in america. It's more like a farm truck.

The Kei is light as a feather 1,800 compared to the Tacos 2,600. The Taco had the wrong tires and a driver that doesn't know how to drive on wet rock. Don't let off the gas till your over the obstacle. He came to a complete stop just before he crested. Rookie.

How do you like the ome suspension? I wanted to do the yj springs, but cannot keep my goid looking spidertrax winch bumper with those, so im looking pretty hard at the ome kit. Also, did you get the medium or heavy load springs?

Tyres make SO much difference in those conditions, but the KEI truck makes it look relatively easy.

Very simple. TRD had limited slip and traction control. Add lockers to the Sammi and that's what I'd take to the trails

Where do you order your lockers from?

Looking good man. I recommend gears if you plan on rock crawling alot. The samis 4 low is great for most "trails" , but rocks are so much less annoying with low gears.

What size tyres are you using on the Daihatsu please, I have a truck here in the uk and id that a jeep bumper the suzuki is using.

Got my 2" lift and new tires on, adjusted camber, etc and now the poor thing hops down the road like a Bunny Wabbit. Not like just when I hit a bump, it's consistently hopping starting at around 25 kph. New 300# springs on the way but it doesn't seam it will help as I didn't feel the hop on the lift, only once I put on the tires. Any ideas?
