Hi Lawrence, i watch yours and cody's at southeast softwash videos all the time. I noticed you haven't made one in awhile, hope your doing ok and everything is good. God bless and thank you for your helpful videos. Because of you i built a very nice portable soft wash system that I'm super excited about. Thanks again. You are appreciated as is Cody also.
Hey Lawrence, love your channel. Learning a lot from you and appreciate that you take the extra time to teach your knowledge. Would really like a video on your marketing strategy, thanks buddy, keep it up
With F9 Barc...I would be already left to go to the next job. Thanks for sharing. Your information on fence cleaning, helped land a $$750 job last week.
James Brown your welcome, I know F9 works very well and fast....it’s also pricey not to include shipping prices, I use to products shown in the video due to being able to get it anywhere locally and half the price but F9 is really awesome
From the internet: Oxalic acid acts as a reducing agent for metal oxides to remove tarnish as well as rust or ink stains. It is used commercially as a laundry rinse, wood-bleaching agent, and calcium remover. Oxalic acid can remove some paints and varnishes. It is also used as a mordant in dyeing textiles and in the manufacture of ink.
You can use eacochem one restore as well. It's a little pricey but not that much for what you need top do for that kind of job. And it works on almost all substrates. Especially glass.
I would use caution when using One Restore on glass. Glass is floated on a liquid tin bath and one side has tin residue in the surface. If the tin side is the exposed side it will react with the acid in One Restore and etch the glass. It's called tin etch haze. It's perfectly fine to use if the tin side isn't exposed. They make testers you can use to check for tin side. You can also use a blue light.
If you increase the concentration of the Oxcylic acid, the rust stains will literally dissapear in seconds without agitation. When I had a pressure washing business in FL, I would buy Oxcylic acid in powder form and mix myself.
S H Yes that’s true if you mix it yourself and mix it but when you buy it already mixed from a distributor they make it a certain strength when you buy it already in the liquid form, It also depends on the temperature of the air the warmer it is the faster it works below 60° it works much slower
Hard to believe that Oxylic is better than Muriatic, but I'll watch anyway! Wasn't aware it was available. The muriatic ar $15 per gal. is near wipe on wipe off, but true, it stings if you set it on you! Tried Spraying.. do NOT get down wind, switched to swishy with a wheel brush and a few cups 100% to draw from a bucket. Safe for vinyl.. do the concrete foundation while you're at it Muriatic is magic, charge extra, get a tip to boot, but be careful Powerful can be dangerous.
can you use the Muriatic acid on other types of surfaces like stucco signs, metal, etc? Can it ruin paint on any of those surfaces, or sign lettering in paint? Thanks for the video!
I removed a lot of rust on flat concrete inside Atlanta botanical garden. I used NMD 80, it worked very well and I had many folks stop by to compliment the results. Probably slightly safer- I xjetted it on and surface cleaned it with 8 gpm, using as much water to dilute as I can and a water recovery vacuum at the low point. Good luck :)
Hello GoodSir. First off God bless you and thank you for making such helpful content. Will the acid Magic take out Well water and fertilizer stains from driveways and sidewalks?

I am so glad you saw the spot land on the camera! I was like OH NOES and when you saw it I said OH YES.

Stuff works wonders... Appreciate the tips...
kenneth p yes it does, there’s videos showing rust stain removal removal on the concrete using the Muriatic acid but not for Vinyl siding

Amen Brother and Thank You.
Thank you brother !
Will it hurt wood if it gets on a deck your working near for example?
Bo L I haven’t experienced any harm to the decking due to keeping it sprayed down with water and rinsing afterwards
Great vid

Rinsing over the deck? Will that affect the wood stain?
Which of these two do u recommend for rust stain on concrete driveway
What ither surfaces can you use muriatic acid on and oxalic acid is only in powder looking it up thats all i can find
Hayes Villarreal you can use it on concrete
@@powerwashingprosinc.lawren922 but muriatic acid etches the concrete which you dont want?
Hello GoodSir. First off God bless you and thank you for making such helpful content. Will the acid Magic take out Well water and fertilizer stains from driveways and sidewalks?
Yes it will take it out, Try diluting it at least 50-50 and if it’s not strong enough go with the 75-25 Chemical to water
@@powerwashingprosinc.lawren922 Thank you so much for the Info I'm going to give it a try. God bless you man and see you out there in Hustle City.
great video brother!
James White thank you
Where did you get that muriatic acid from?
Josh Tuper you can buy it from Amazon
Lowes, HD etc.
Leslie's pool supply has acid magic for $10 a gallon
Anthony Hernandez Man that’s a great price
@@powerwashingprosinc.lawren922 Lawrence great content on your videos. What is the dilution ratio for Acid Magic? 🍻
Is Mary-at-ic acid the same as Muriatic acid?
Mark M it’s the latter
Thank you for another educational video Lawrence ! Appreciate everything you share ! Does the Muriatic acid work on the rust stained roof shingles ? Thanks again brother ........
Robert Roth yes it does
Where can I buy these products
Ricky walker online at various places
Lawrence how would you price that
New here, appreciate you big guys doing videos. Thanks
What if that’s on the oxidation side?
Matt Zettler haven’t done that test Theory
Is it effective on Concrete as well?
Yes
@@powerwashingprosinc.lawren922 WHAT'S THE RATIO FOR CONCRETE SO IT DOENST ETCH?
can i use those acids on stucco?
How to dialute the oxalic acid with water?i tried with warm water still.....
HOT HOT water not warm. The hotter the better it dissolves.
What chemical do you use to clean roofs?
There's only one to use.
What was your mix ration?
Jason Lewis I used no mix ratio on the rust stains being so bad just used the straight form of chemical non diluted
For both acids
Wonder how that acid magic muratic would work on concrete rust. I know regular muratic acid will etch the concrete.
I believe (in this vid), he said the oxalic was diluted already by the manufacturer
Have you tried Goof Off Rust Remover?
wise choice can’t say I have but I’ve seen it
@@powerwashingprosinc.lawren922 works great try it my friend
wise choice I’ll definitely try it sometime, thanks
Are you using the muriatic acid at full strength?
Good stuff! and Yes God is good.
Will muriatic acid work well on a brick wall with rust stain? What strength would you suggest?
Yes, I would start with 50/50 water to muratic.
I thought Muriatic acid could be used on windows...
It took him 11 minutes to relay 3 minutes of actual info on this subject.
Larry D thank you sir, I appreciate your feedback and thanks for watching as always😃
MOVE ON SIR.
he's a pressure washing business owner, not a highly trained public correspondent.
Oxcylic acid won't etch the surface , the muriatic acid/acid Magic Will Etch the surface .
S H It does not and will not match the surface of vinyl siding
Oxalic isn't strong enough
That mask is kicking arse. Safety first. 😂😂
Nothing change.. 🤦
Next time spray cokeacola on it see what it do. ...I pour coke in the toilet... ... And boooom no ring
LadyPlantz Alot I may try it sometime
