Recently got back into Fallout 4 because of the next gen update and your videos have been a BIG help, especially the last video with all the tips and tricks. Since then, you've been inspiring me to really put some thought into my settlement builds but to also make a playlist full of all the music you've been using for these videos. If you wouldn't mind, could you start listing them in your descriptions for the future?
you can actually place 1 water tower outside the walls. when u are outside of covenant main door facing the entrance. its the southwest corner of buildable area.

It's DLC. every DLC adds settlement objects, Neon signs from Wasteland Workshop, windows from contraptions DLC. If you like this game or like building, its worth getting the season pass (when its on sale)

It just felt like it would really help with settler variety, which could add a headcanon story to your settlement, why that named settler or npc is there. But that's just me, I guess. Thank you though Also, that video helped me out being able to put power armor in my settlers so yeah, now my Commonwealth Minutemen could rival the Brotherhood 😂
It’s very much a interior decoration settlement. You’re not adding structures per se, more like adding on and detailing what’s already there. 99% of builders tend not to build here because of that, so you’re not alone in that sentiment.
@@orangesqueasy yeah, I'm not much on an interior builder. I also play without mods but I'm not a thorough with decoration but I pride myself on how my settlements are designed and how they look on the outside. Edit: I also go the peaceful route but the buildings are still glitched

i only just found this channel through your tips video and you pulled me back into fallout 4, been filling out a "100%" char to get into vanilla settlement building and just finished my ending. Your creativity inspires me to create settlements that match yours, I can't wait to see what else you make and where else you make it! There's tons of underrated locations I feel get overlooked because of the vanilla restrictions that you get around!

Do you stream your builds? Im sure hella people would wanna watch a real time build me included. Id love to watch it real time i struggle to process time lapses and id love some inspiration from your builds. Also how long did it take you to get a good grasp of the glitching?
I used to stream, but it’s something I’d like to do again. The issue is that the way I build is a lot of trial and error, so lots of going back and fourth since I like experimenting and limit testing. I got good enough experience with glitching from my console days back in 2018
@@orangesqueasy personally I think watching the trial and error is good for learning as we can see how much it takes to get certain things in certain places. Seeing someone as skilled as you also taking time to get things right and experimenting is good as it shows us we're not necessarily doing anything wrong we just need to tweak and adjust things until it's just right. Keep up the good work man. I've been playing Fo4 since launch in and off and I'm only just really getting into the settlement building. I always thought it was missing something and I've always been a little dissapointed with it but seeing your videos and builds is inspiring 💪
So I have tried literally everything I've followed multiple tutorials down to a T and I can't get the glitches to work I can sometimes get a wall to slightly clip into another or an item every so often into another but I cannot get it to work consistently and it's getting very distressing because I'm following everything closely
@@orangesqueasy Sorry bud it turns out I was being really dumb I had a few mods installed it wasn't even anything that should have interfered with the meshes but apparently it did 🤷
Can I just say I loved the shift from an old school Camara view and quiet music into a clear picture and more audio. Very nice.

Covenant is always my favorite to build at. I usually default to making it a shopping center.
