Me too! But I bent it a little, because it just slips right out of the groove it seats in. Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting. The clip ring pops off while tightening and if I tighten just enough for the ring to not pop out of groove, the drain spins when I try to install the disposal onto the installation bracket.

I'm having this same problem. I'm guessing he doesn't actually read posts, cuz he told you he was glad he could help (but he didn't help you!) So how did you get the snap ring to not come off?
