I tried P.N.03 on the regular 2GB RP3 two nights ago and it ran well for the most part on the Dolphin for Handheld emulator. I did play around with the resolution scale settings to achieve a balance between graphical fidelity and performance. But if it ran well enough on the RP3 then I'll be looking forward to how much better it runs on the RP3+
@@animejoe4041 I tried it on the 3 as well (I hate that I bought it lol). it seems that the stutter is mainly with the open areas.. once you go indoors it runs at a pretty decent pace. Thats why I have high hopes for the 3+ 😊

He tested the wii version (harder to run version) via discord. It runs about 20 fps with cpu underclock and 17-24 without. Chances are the PAL version on Wii will run fine at pretty much full speed.
Burnout 2 has a native 16:9 option in the settings, no need for a hack. I'm using both Dolphin apps that come with the RP3+, plus the PAL ROM and there's none of the mid-race hiccups that are in this footage, it's a solid 50fps. No assets on the periphery popping in either.
Which one are you using with Burnout 2? It is entirely possible that a different app could perform better. I only tested MMJR with these Gammecube games.

You must have over clock CPU in your retroid Pocket 3+ because I been watching other TH-camrs and they just don't have this type of performance can you explain 🤔 I have a celero 5 g phone it has the same GPU as this device the only difference is that it's rocking the diminsity 700 I will use your videos as a guide and check the performance anyway IAM new subscribers and I like your channel and your reviews I'm just dumbfounded by the performance of your device especially with PlayStation 2 IAM aware of aether sx2 and the fork of dolphin emulator anyway thanks happy holidays 😃
The other reviewers basically did nothing to improve performance at all (and they admit that). Their argument is that people like you are too "uninformed" to be able to figure out how to change settings in their emulators so they don't do it either. Or maybe they are just too lazy to do it? Haha Don't worry! Starting next week when I post videos they will include exact and details instructions on how to get the same performance. I've got you covered! No overclocking needed. :)
I'm assuming you're using retail dolphin ( least that's what I assume Daijishio uses by default) Surprised you aren't using MMJR2 or [Dolphin handheld],i get tons better results from both over the commercial release of dolphin
Daijisho can use whatever you want. Daijisho doesn't care. I am using MMJR because I have have good experience with it. Sometimes I get better performance with it than MMJR2, but in general I find it is a better user experience. For Wii I am more likely to use MMJR2. For what it's worth I just tested Burnout 2 using MMJR2 using the same settings I was using in MMJR and found the performance to be unplayable.
If you check my review you will know! :) I chose the most demanding PS2 game I could find, set the brightness to maximum, with Wifi on, and the battery lasted 4 hours and 12 minutes.

I think it comes with some fork of mmjr specifically for RP3+ edit: tried to find th APK of fork, but couldn't (I have a phone with t606, so I thought maybe it'll help performance a little)
