I bought a 2+ a while back and got a defective unit and didn't even realize it. The buttons were sized wrong making them ridiculously stiff, tall, and have a ton of travel. I just got my 3+ in the mail and it's fantastic. Glad i gave them one more chance.
Yeah, I heard about that issue with the 2+. This 3+ is really hitting a sweet spot of build, performance, and price. Easy to recommend to anyone I think.

This is actually a little more in depth than i anticipated. At 6:19 when you go to find the actual rom directory, how did you get the rom files on there?? did you preload the sd card before hand?

Something to know about Graphics Settings, is that it's a per game thing. Most games will work with the default settings, but there are a few that need to be tweaked to get right. If you want to play at a higher resolution, you'll need to be willing to tweak settings to get full fps/speed. Again, most games will work with the default, but select few will need over/underclocking, frameskip, etc. to run well.
soooo where exactly do i put the roms? you skipped right on passed that 😅😅 since this is Android, am i good to just drop a folder in the main directory of my roms with subfolders of each system??
I have 128 GB internal memory... Why do I have to use an SD card? What shoud that? I'm disappointed, that I still have to do all this setup and installation to play. Why hasn't the manufacturer already preconfigured this?
Why do you need a front end? What's wrong with just using adriod launcher and select individual emulator and play roms there? You got access to more features like browser, photo album, music, etc...

That's awesome! Unless you really, really want every game the system plays, I think 512GB will cover it for most people. I find it easy to make room just by deleting a PS2 or GC game here or there. They are huge compared to most everything else the RP3+ will play.

It's such a shame Daijisho stopped being updated. It still has some really annoying issues that add up. I switched to Emulation Station which came out recently for Android and it feels like home. I love the variety of custom themes you can do.

hey im having a weird problem, I don't have a google play store app on my retroid pocket 3. Just got it today and I have all the same emulators installed like in the beginning, but i don't have the playstore
Settings, handheld settings. Somewhere in there is a setting to run the start up wizard again. If you have daijisho set as your default home app, you will have to redo that afterwards.
For GameCube, I want to use both the Dolphin for Handheld emulator that comes specially for the Retroid pocket, and the Dolphin MMJR emulator that sometimes works better. How can I assign these in Daijisho?
Firstly thanks for the hard work, it's greatly appreciated. I have. Even using Dolphin MMJR to play GameCube games, but for some reason, it flashes up on the screen with the inputs as I press them. I can see you don't have that problem in the video. Any ideas?

Doubtful. Most vaguely reputable companies don't include games. You could probably find someone selling one they bought and setup though.
