I love the razor blade idea! That is really helpful! I've planned to make a flag for my sister-in-law (my brother is in the Army), and this is just a great design. Thank you for sharing the step by step!
Great job! 2 ideas I had to get the EGA to sit in the flag would be 1) true up the circle of the EGA And/or 2) put a rabbet around the EGA and use the circle jig still. Looks great, very helpful tips
Great project with very easy to follow instructions. I’ve watched all your videos, now, and it’s hard to believe you’re relatively new to YT. You’ve done a great job using this platform. Keep it up and thanks for your service!
Great work, really enjoying all the videos so far! Random question, what’s your set up for keeping the shop cool in the summer & warm in the winter? Not sure where you’re at, but noticed the ac unit in the background as you’re working on the emblem. I’m in the mid south with a west facing garage, so that’s a huge deterrent from working on projects during the warmer months. Any feedback is great, may or may not be wide enough for a video topic. thanks!
I’m in Texas, just south of Houston. I insulated the garage doors and had a mini split AC unit installed. It does a very good job keeping the shop cool during the summer. When it gets too cold in the shop I have a small electric space heater, but there’s only a few weeks out of the year I need to do that.
Better overall product. The boards are perfectly aligned and will stay that way. The flag can sit flat against the wall and not be sticking out due to slats in the back.
I have the very same plaque that my wife gifted to me years ago. It has been moving around the patio cabana from the table to the bar top. I’ve been fearful of it being broken. Now I will have to make a flag to mount it to. Thanks for the idea brother!

Awesome, thank you!
I never thought about using the razor blades. Great idea.
It really helps with keeping a clean, sharp line with no bleeding over. Thanks for watching!
Firearm concealment furniture next!
I’ll add it to the idea list!
Nice flag. Looks to be one of the easiest and quickest ways to build one.
Thanks! These are very quick and easy to build!
Great job, and some good tips! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
This is great!! Thanks so much!!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome looking! What stain did you use for the union. Thanks
@@johnbrafford2795 I don’t have access to the shop right now but the stain colors are listed in the video description.
Really great job brother!
Thank you!
razor blades or a sticky side tape either way both works great
Razor blades work great! I've tried painters tape, and will still get bleed through.
What are the names of the color blue and red you used? Is this transparent stain or painted stain??
Materials should be listed in the video description. I believe it’s water based semitransparent stain.

What size union stencil did you use?
A link to the correct stencil is in the video description.
Semper Fi
Semper FI!!!
Why did you choose to glue together instead of using slats on the back like I have seen a lot of others do?
