I REALLY hate that bendis aged him up the way he did because Jon and Damian was one of my favorite duos.
Thinks it's dumb to age him up like that, now he can't grow up along side Damien. A good alternative might have been doing a Trunks from Dragon Ball scenario.

While I’m also not a fan of the aging up, the age gap between him and Damian hardly changed since Damien was like 3 years older than him but now it’s Jon that’s older than him.

One of the biggest wastes of potential in DC. DC taking the lazy route and time-skipping him completely eliminated the first opportunity in decades to actually make Clark interesting by letting us see him in a role he's never properly been seen in for an extended period of time: Parent.
Not to mention the dynamic between Jon and Damian Wayne was pure comedy and character building gold.
All totally gone now.

@@Jamesalec63 Connor is virtually nothing like Jon. He was a clone created for nefarious purposes both before and after New 52. He was never a baby, and never a child really. He didn't grow up in the Kent household being raised by Clark and Lois.

I love Jonathan Samuel Kent suoerboy as his little 10 year old self and him teaming up with his friend Damian Wayne robin was really awesome and tons of fun and them forming the super sons was really awesome and super adorable.

Kinda weird how a half human half kryptonian is stronger than a pure blood kryptonian but he's creative so ig its fine
His human side gives him the ability to further his powers beyond that of a full kryptonian, its like breeding with the right genetics and mutations eventually you get something better than both parents
Probably because he gets the benefits of limitless strength from his Kryptonian side but gets resilience to Kryptonian weaknesses from his human side. Also other human hybrids in fiction are stronger than their full blooded parent like Gohan in DBZ and Mark Grayson in Invincible.

The next generation is usually always stronger, regardless of being half human/half fill in blank (examples are Mark Grayson aka Invincible, who's half Viltramite yet is still stronger then most of his full-blooded kind and Gohan from DBZ who's half Saiyan).

At first I didn't like the character because I thought he was replacing what I thought Superman was, but I've come to see that John Kent is a true hero in his own right and I hope he reaches heights that his father once had.

If they’re smart they’ll make this non-canon and keep superboy Jon as the canon version. Not only was the dynamic between Jon and Damien amazing, but it would have given us more of our favorite Superman moments, him trying to balance his human life with his hero life.

Ageing Jon up is the biggest mistake DC writers made with him. The Super Sons were amazing, but DC just *had* to pull a Chloe Thunderman.

The fan are happy with Jon being a 10-11 years old kid. The super sons Jon and Damian was the best thing to happen to DC for a very long time.
DC should have made some movies and TV shows with this duo before turning them into adults.

He went to space with his grandfather (Jor-el, Clark's biological father) to train with him and get more control of his powers (he was upset because the Teen Titans rejected him). He train with his grandfather, noticed that he was manipulated him, escape, got into a multidimensional hole into Earth 3 and kidnapped by Ultraman, then got out and return to earth with 6-7 years more while in earth it was only three weeks. Dumb writing decision by Bendis, because just some issues before, Clark and Jon well knew Jor-el was evil and they had defeated him. But here, Clark and Lois let Jon go with his crazy grandpa like it was some school trip and Lois even abandoned him in space (since she accompany him in the beggining). And Jon was okay with the TT decision, since that decision had nothing against him, it was more about the team's dynamic, even Damian reassured him. But yeah, Jon returned without any single trauma, even when Ultraman tortured him all those years.
Hopefully DC sees our discontent w aging him up and changes it back so let me add a comment saying: Y’all messed up DC
