He's the teenage adult son of Superman himself who just reappeared out of the time stream. He's a big deal in the superhero community. I think it's great that everyone genuinely wants to make sure he turns out alright. He has mentors because he respects those who came before. It'll make him a very unique Superman.
Nightwing, when written well like this, is everything Batman SHOULD be. Just an improvement on all sides from his dad, which is the best thing a father could hope for his child to be.
And, Batman couldn't be more proud. Bruce actually doesn't want Dick to be Batman for this very reason. He doesn't want Dick to be anything like himself.

If they really wanted to make him older they should’ve just aged him up 3 years to be the same age as Damian instead of drastically aging him up in order to fill the role of Superman faster which wasn’t what people wanted. Superboy doesn’t need to be Superman or at least not yet. Giving him time to develop into his own character without rush was crucial and DC really dropped the ball out of frustration.

My apologies for mixing fandoms but at this point DC should pull a doctor who and make krypton lost in a pocket universe waiting to be found, since that make the most since how the last son of krypton can have his cousin, dad, super computer, dog, evil generals and probably more kryptonians I don’t know about in comics
I like the idea that despite the destruction of krypton all the kryptonians that were off world escaped, leaving a scattered but not insignificant amount of Kryptonian people and objects still around. It's pretty reasonable and it adds a lot of possible stories about being part of a displaced culture and the impact of a diaspora. They just... Don't handle it that reasonably, usually. Any time a kryptonian shows up it's because of a special circumstance.
I love how full circle the Nightwing story is. Superman tells dick the story that inspired him to be a hero because of the Kryptonian legend. To Nightwing saving the universe, then to him being the hero to inspire hope into the son of Clark who will eventually take up the Mantle of Superman 😢💙

This scene is kinda weird because, this never happened. Jon learned how to fly during the Super Sons book back in DC Rebirth. By that time, he was well acquainted with Batman, and Nightwing was wearing the blue suit. I'm honestly just not a fan of how Tom Taylor writes Jon Kent, he constantly feels like he has something to prove, but not in the way that "I'm having trouble living up to the name Superman" but in the way "Yeah, I'm Superman, deal with it" which gets really annoying

This scene is kinda weird because, this never happened. Jon learned how to fly during the Super Sons book back in DC Rebirth. By that time, he was well acquainted with Batman, and Nightwing was wearing the blue suit.
I'm honestly just not a fan of how Tom Taylor writes Jon Kent, he constantly feels like he has something to prove, but not in the way that "I'm having trouble living up to the name Superman" but in the way "Yeah, I'm Superman, deal with it" which gets really annoying
