I'm so glad I'm not the only one who remembers that throw in season 1 when he was a kid cause thats why I thought he would've been the one to inherit Clarke's powers. I just know they're dormant and I can't WAAITTT for him to fully get them!!

I agree with you, i just can't feel enough emotions with this new actor as much as with Jordan Elsass. But he needed to leave for his mental health so can't blame him.

He’s a Kryptonian hybrid in the state where pure Kryptonians are before their supernatural powers manifest. Which grant peak physical condition, good intuition, and access to his alien race technology he’s still resourceful with that being less powerful than his father and brother especially when their effected by Kryptonite but he isn’t.
he is just a normal human his girlfriend gave him some superman power but it only lasts like 20 mins or so

I agree, but there is more than one way to show contrast. The two could have different powers, or one could have much stronger powers while the other is somewhere between a normal human and superman. One could use his power for good while the other becomes corrupted by his powers and uses them for selfish reasons. @@urfavoriteki

"LOL" a normal person can hit a rope with a football. Yes, teen boys can throw balls that accurately. It isn't hard at all. Even if you miss, you can try again. It's not like the rope magnetically repels the ball. Whether the old, rotten, weathered rope would snap is less certain.@@whitegoldd16

Hear me out: as much as we want it to happen it’s unlikely that Jon will ever develop powers of his own. Since he won’t be getting powers I’d think it’d be really cool if Jon came across a green lantern ring, and maybe leaves earth to train on oa at the end of the series.

I really hope he gets his powers. Not XK, but the real thing. It’s been fun to have the one with powers and the one without, but it doesn’t make sense anymore. Hopefully they’re dormant and comes out later on.
I'm hoping for something. Anything will do at this point. But I guess the writers love the drama of one brother without powers. But on this Earth it seems that Superman is the only super being. Sam Lane saw other Earths with leagues of superheroes, but on this particular Earth, it's only Superman. Jonathan loves technology and was around John Henry a lot because of all the tech. Maybe Jonathan can be....Batman? Now that can make sense if the writers can pull it off. In time, Jordan will have all of his powers and Jonathan will have his tech and the two of them with maybe Natalie can start their own justice league....sorry....I know that is a fantasy....I'm just trying to get Jonathan's character in the game.

I don't mind the drama/soap opera aspect of the CW that much. Of course, you can't make a 42-minute tv show without some drama. 5-minute action scenes per episode are all you can hope for but it's for shit like this that the CW gets so much hate. There was absolutely no reason Jonathan couldn't be Superboy or an only child. But no. Instead they had to make the socially awkward, depressed child the one with the powers. He didn't need to have a twin. I wish they went with the pre-crisis decision to make Jonathan an only child. Jordan doesn't even exist in the comics.
I mean it’s your opinion and I respect it but the majority of people love this show they praise it and enjoy it and it’s different from the classic Superman story that they’ve always done and Superman has had 2 kids in the comics and I love Jordan I relate to him I love johns and Jordans brotherly bond and relationship it’s beautiful it’s unlike any other show and they added Jordan because of crisis to show that something changed after Oliver rebooted the timeline or I guess that Jordan is a play on Connor Kent and probably Johns powers will come in at some point and the reason that people love Jordan as much as I’ve heard they might add him into the comics just like they did with diggle and felicity
This land is not the same as the one where Superman from Supergirl lived, this is another multiverse. In that old world Jonathan is still an only child. I honestly like the idea of the hero not being a badass and yes someone with anxiety and problems like us.
True, Jordan didn't exist in any of the comics, but Alex Garfin is a badass. Yes, even though he's not a comic book character, Alex seriously makes up for it by portraying that role the best he can. And its worth it. I am sad to see Jordan Elsaas recast, but Michael has actually been doing pretty well this season.

@@Kng-Flix then watch the last episode of the second season. It was clear that Earth 1 has only Jon and in this universe there are the twins. The general himself said that there is only Superman on that earth, and that's why he's amazing.

Dudes a bit of a loose cannon right now, just as emotional as Jordan but hides them deep rather than wearing them on his sleeve. Clark and Lois keep him grounded but if he got abilities now it wouldn't turn out to great. He'd end up like the Bizarro Jon, the first person to validate his feelings gets to point him like a gun.

I deeply dislike they kept hinting & low key showin Jon have powers. B4 XK. Then just stripped any possibility for him to have powers.
I love that it showed Jon with powers is easily far better than Jordan. Although I love Jordan havin powers. This makes sense, since Jon El said the weak one has powered here. Referring to Jordan. In both Universes, Jordan’s powers are inferior to Jon’s, initially.

The rope was probably just bad. And misdirection by the writers.
@@Kayoss13212even if the rope was bad which it probably wasn’t a kid at that age doesn’t have the strength or accuracy to break the rope especially since it wasn’t even a spiral, it’s either a little plot hole or he’ll get his powers eventually
