I thought that would be the case as well, but they only seem to be worth around $30-$40 more than a regular titan xp which is surprising to me, I half expected them to be in the $700 ish range yet theres listings for them at $230
Make 2 builds: an Intel + Jedi Order build with green LEDs and a Ryzen + Galactic Empire build with red LEDs and have them compete in a bunch of star-wars related tasks (playing Battlefronts 1 & 2, encoding a set of clips from star wars, etc.)
Or you could just read cpu reviews as thats what i would come to, the r1700 would win in encoding, the i5 8600k would have an edge in 1080p gaming (perfect for expensive 4k graphics cards).
Yeah I know how every Ryzen chip performs against every Intel chip from 4th gen onwards, I'm not an idiot. What I'm saying is that it would be a neat and fun video just to show off two different builds, especially considering LTT hasn't had Battlefront 2 in a benchmarket yet (that I know of.)
Do a build off. Jedi Order "Luke" and Galactic Empire "Linus". So basically do a fully themed build featuring the cards. Who ever can make the best themed pc wins. Fans vote.
Simple but amazing. You and luke (or someone else) got to compete for building the best star wars themed PC build (Lot's of RGB ofcourse)..... And Linus can have the dark side.
The Jedi order is supposed to be a little more scrappy in appearance because it represents the resistance. And the resistance uses old equipment, and it can be symbolized that things put together can make one big thing, like a rebellion
Build the ULTIMATE STAR WARS COMPUTERS. One computer being Jedi Order themed and the other Galactic Empire themed. They can have a proper duel to see which card is really superior!!
Do a build in a custom TIE fighter ProtoCase that features the Galactic Empire card. Maybe do the same with the Jedi Order card but in a custom X Wing case! That would be sick!
ummm... yes? its only fitting. I could care less about star wars, its just a fitting idea. If you want them to just give it to you, it means you're selfish. And unless your idea is Star Wars themed, there isn't much point to it. You can slap a different Titan xP into your system idea.
You should do a build off. A Jedi/rebel themed build verses a sith/empire build. Not just the case, a full battle station setup. Points to win based on aesthetics of case, aesthetics of the full battlestation. Cable management of the case/desk. As well as, functionality as a workstation/battlestation. It would be nice to see you guys do something beyond just the case itself, your workstations always look like a gong show. It would be nice to see you put effort into a full themed battlestation setup.
You guys should do a build off, two employees per team and they have to build a computer to complement the card, as well as customizing the build by adding some design, figures, etc.
That's not a bad idea, assuming they have a big enough audience that would watch the video. I would and think it'd be fun. Maybe even scrapyard wars style and have a budget to build the best design and performance within a certain budget. I dunno. wouldn't mind seeing that though, although I'd prefer to see a video about all four SWBF 's.
Love that idea, but how about you and luke go head to head l, you start off with plain brown box blind choice of card, then build a theme around the card you get with identical hardware and let the viewers choose the winner with a vote on the forum.
Actually not a bad idea. Building around a beat GPU. Maybe remain silent on whether you can SLI another one? Then it would be a grind to get the fastest CPU.
that would be cool, especially for the Jedi card, since junky older pc parts would look sick and match the theme. (since Jedi ships and stuff look like scrap and pipes glued together)!!!
Remember when you did the PC theme build off? Something like that with Luke. One of you has the dark side as a theme and the other one the opposite. I think would be pretty cool.
I'm really liking these videos they really remind me of the old Linus Tech Tips. This was the reason why I subscribed so long ago and it feels like greeting an old friend. I understand that most new subscribers are used to the high production value of the recent videos but man this is so grassroots LTT!
1 tower 2 pcs, with those cards mounted vertically, one side painted white, the other black, one side AMD one side Intel.. you get the theme ;D edit: Maybe a split Desk-Pc build? :D
Jedi Order and Galactic Empire are from different Star Wars eras but the Jedi did exist when the Empire was in rule, it just wasn't as big as it once was.
Thirds also, it wouldn't make too much sense if one was just the rebels, as only one rebel was a Jedi, and the galactic Empire are definitely the most iconic star wars villains
We surpass the movies when it comes to some things.. like mobile devices, monitor quality etc, we now got holograms too. but unfortunatly where we have advanced proccesing and audio visual tech, we have not improved efficiency of power etc much. This IS due to the fact, its all driven by greed. companies competing to get customers forever drives tech forward... but energy and fuel companies?? they have an iron grip, and need not advance to beat each other, this has left transportation to go stagnant in comparison, and global powering to be the same, even solar power hasn't enough money put into it, as power companies dont see it as profitable. we are decades/centuries out from space travel on a star wars level for this reason alone.
The governments behind the scenes already have real dead silent spaceships to space travel to another solar systems and unlimited energy technologies thanks to Nikola Tesla, ancient technologies and roswell ufo incident which made reverse engineering spaceships possible. The technologies used by public is at least 30 to 50 years behind the secret underground military technologies. That's why Star Wars is a secret reality behind the scenes.
You should do a competition one team gets the light side and the other team gets the dark side and they need to build a pc based around the graphics card
I really like these videos, the format seems more real and genuine one or two every week or so would be nice. The live ones are really good too as it lets us interact during the stream and possibly ask questions
Next year's scrapyard wars: each team gets one of the cards and you have to make a build around that theme (galactic empire getting black and red, jedi order green and silver/grey)
Build a dual system, 1 case, both liquid cooled with green liquid for green and red liquid for red. Then have 2 people dress up as Vader and idk, Yoda or some other good guy character, have them play games against eachother and see which graphics card is the best. Obvious the more frames you have the better you play and the better RGB, the more frames you have. That would be really cool to see
I'd build a dual set-up in one case(maybe like HP Omen). Like one for the "white" side and the other the "dark" side. plus seperate them with a line or something since both happens in different timelines and structure one a little more futuristic, you know. add some sound effects when you turn on the dark side like the darth vader sound "kkhhhhttt". or even add vaders chest part as powerbutton _ and on the other side a light saber to pull or two light sabbers wich light up when the power is on _ and No RGB needed, Linus! you'll get those "extra 15 fps" fom the dark side! just trowing some spontanious idea xD
Aleksi134 Thank you for the Information. It wouldn't be a big of a problem for me because I'm not as familiar with star wars as you are, sorry. I think it would be cool and unique. Cheers
What's the point of running the new ones? They are crap compared to the old ones... You guys forget about demolishing the rebels as a Wampa in hoth? Or how about Jedi vs Sith Heroes in Mos Eisley? Unlimited power! (Oops, I meant to say "Unlimited FUN!" playing LAN with friends).
Or how about someone who's never had a gaming PC once in their life other than that one time they went to Office Depot but only got to use it for a minute??? :D
Ren are you suggesting they do a lightsaber battle while plugged in? That's not bad actually lol, Plug em in to separate computers with long extensions, start the benchies and have a role-played battle jedi vs sith until one of the cards gives out. That'd be kinda awesome XD
Gotta do a water cooled led coloured pc with some star wars graphics on the side. Whether it was a red build and a green build or a dual green and red led build with two separate piping systems and reservoirs in the pc.
Alexander Peters YES YES YES! In my opinion to the other replies, The Original SWBF (2004) was better than the 2015 edition in all areas except from graphics. SWBF2 (2005) is a brilliant game but the new one improves on it in almost all aspects except they could do with more maps for each mode but the latest one will improve on that with free DLC to come so although the micro-transactions were controversial I personally wouldn't mind them due to how terrible I am at games and although I'm relatively poor (one of the poorest areas of the UK and now poorer thanks to the devaluation of the pound value due to Brexit) I value the ability to improve slightly at a cost more than having to pay for DLC or wasting money on cosmetic things.
Zipp4Everyone Clearly you haven't heard the news. Not only have EA stopped all micro-transactions but they cut the prices of the heroes by 75% from 40K and 60K to 15K and 20K. Furthermore, you get 4 heroes and 4 villains unlocked with the game. 25% of 40 hours is 10 hours so its 4 times quicker unlock one of them. That's based on the average rate but you get points far quicker at the beginning of the game, even faster if you actually try and get the achievements/challenges. Despite all that, the game can be and is still enjoyable without any heroes or villains.
Zipp4Everyone Okay, I see you point of view. It's understandable but one counter-argument that I'll throw out is that EA is a business and businesses (not that I like it) are supposed to make money first and other issues after. Unlike politicians and governments who are supposed to always do the "right thing" and look after the people (although there are many many many countries where that's not true). But I guess I do love Star Wars more than the issue that people dislike so I am biased. If it was any other game I would probably be on the opposite side because I don't play many games. Thanks for the convo anyway. I always appreciate another (informed) point of view.
Strap the whole unit on a clear backpack (battery packs included), then secure the Star Wars themed backpack on Linus and have him ride on one of Casey Neistat's hoverbikes.
I think a full on mod (2 mods then) that matches the colors on each card inside a case that showcases the cards - like the Shift or Shift X... somehow i think a vertical card is needed here, with the cooler front and centre
So after googling I found that they usually have buttons that require to be held down by a hand or the force. So yes I would say those could potentially be those buttons.
Should do a build off with BS Mods, do teams Linus VS Luke with a 5k build/mod budget(card cost could be left out?) show what they can do with a real budget, but only 2days. Make it a 2-3 parter so you can show how they/with your guys help come up with the idea for the build. and how to do the modding. I'd find that fun to watch, even with bake in adds and youtube adds :). just my thoughts.
What happened to the regular format? This seems like a glorified livestream instead of a regular LTT video
Today's video was the Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset. Think of this as a "bonus"
Ah cool :)
Linus Tech Tips yo mama's a bonus
Linus Tech Tips hi
Well at least no clickbait thumbnail lul
Suggestion: Linus and Luke both take one of the cards and battle it out over who can build the best star wars themed system
Lance Roberts that'd be awesome and really fun to do and of cours watch
then they 1v1 on battlefront
"Luke, I'm your father"
Of only Linus knew... The famine, the long nights looking for a GPU, this has definitely gone up in value
I thought that would be the case as well, but they only seem to be worth around $30-$40 more than a regular titan xp which is surprising to me, I half expected them to be in the $700 ish range yet theres listings for them at $230

Fun idea. Team vs Team would be fun for this purpose. Even if you know what will, specs, blah, blah blah. Just make it!
YES!
Call up bs mods get two builds give them to me I think that would be the best for views and stuff yeah....
Do a build off. Jedi Order "Luke" and Galactic Empire "Linus". So basically do a fully themed build featuring the cards. Who ever can make the best themed pc wins. Fans vote.
Do you have to buy "Additional Power DLC" to unlock all cores?
Yes. With pride and accomplishment.
Lol, You can no longer pay for Power DLC, its disabled untill a later date.
Knowing EA - they will probably handicap regular card performance and unlock it for these limited edition cards...
Also, it takes 40 hours for your games to start, so you appreciate them more.
Unless you pay extra, of course.
Need to open loot boxes for hope of more cores
Please bring back Tech Showdown! Luke Vs Linus each getting to build a custom star wars themed pc. This could be sooooooo Epic!
PS you should probably use a case with a pcie riser so we can see the full glory of the titans.
Tech showdown was one of my favorite "series" on this channel.
Luke vs Ed (form techsource) building a PC.
Luke skywalker vs Kylo
joes mama PLEASE
Doo it
A scrapyard wars theme build between Linus and Luke only.
One gets the Jedi order card
One gets galactic empire card
I think we know which one Luke is getting...
Niether...
Yeah, Each one has to build a Light and Dark side themed PC. That could be an fun idea.
I was literally going to say the same thing. Thanks so much. (But please do it Linus!) I am your father.
This is an AMAZING idea!!
Did U throw out the cases? 'Cause there are collector's pins inside!
obviously a starwars themed build with a custom case!
Those plugs are the buttons to turn on the lightsabers (which is what these are modeled after).
It's odd that one has a plastic plug and the other has a metal plug, though.
Simple but amazing. You and luke (or someone else) got to compete for building the best star wars themed PC build (Lot's of RGB ofcourse)..... And Linus can have the dark side.
Yes, just should be the next scrapyard wars season were they already got the gpu but have to get the best star wars themed build
This
Arthur Houchin underrated comment
It has to be Luke because well his Name is Luke
Luke skywalker, i love it
The Jedi order is supposed to be a little more scrappy in appearance because it represents the resistance.
And play Battlefront 2 1v1
Except Linus and Luke have a competition
Yesss. Build of with star wars theme. Cosplay is a must!
Then they can say they executed order 66
Yes plz do
Do a build in a custom TIE fighter ProtoCase that features the Galactic Empire card. Maybe do the same with the Jedi Order card but in a custom X Wing case! That would be sick!
um no
maybe for near-virginal nerds
And then give me the build
Yes
ummm... yes? its only fitting. I could care less about star wars, its just a fitting idea. If you want them to just give it to you, it means you're selfish. And unless your idea is Star Wars themed, there isn't much point to it. You can slap a different Titan xP into your system idea.
ovr9000storks please do
7:13 Camera Man is wondering what he's doing with his life.
Giveaway
and hhhkkkkkk
AMD Empire vs Intel Jedi build?
AMD Jedi and Nvidia/Intel Sith _clearly_
I was more going for colour schemes with Sith Red and Jedi Blue/Green
YES THEY MUST
correction AMD= Jar Jar Binks
yes
Make a star wars build for each card or both in same one
YESSSS DO THIS
Scrapyard wars where each team has to theme the pc around the card they get given?
Torin Malwak oh my god
Both in the same one, LIGHT SIDE CLASHES WITH DARK SIDE BUILD!
The cards don't work well together. You saw it if you watched the video through.
Reminds me of Linus' older videos. No intro; handheld, etc.
(Waves two fingers slowly before Linus' eyes.) You will give these two cards away to two lucky contest winners...
Jared Pratt It won't work on him.
He's Master Linus.
GPU, it is his. Give anyone, he will not.
I know who Linus felt when unboxing this and eager to put it in remarkable like a million bucks
You should do a build off. A Jedi/rebel themed build verses a sith/empire build. Not just the case, a full battle station setup. This.
get fans to build and design computers around these cards
"Now witness the framerates of this fully operational battlestation"
You guys should do a build off, two employees per team and they have to build a computer to complement the card, as well as customizing the build by adding some design, figures, etc.

assassinate241 Oh really, a Scrapyard Wars with a Titan XP?!
assassinate241 It would be Tech Showdown, not Scrapyard Wars
Followed by an awesome giveaway XD
Next scrapyard wars, each build starts with jedi or empire and has to make the rest of the build around it.
This one... !!!
Totally THIS ONE!!
Okay but then give the cards away to viewers ;)
Actually not a bad idea. Building around a beat GPU. Maybe remain silent on whether you can SLI another one? Then it would be a grind to get the fastest CPU.
that would be cool, especially for the Jedi card, since junky older pc parts would look sick and match the theme. (since Jedi ships and stuff look like scrap and pipes glued together)!!!
Should have spliced in a clip of Lando saying, "They told me they fixed it!"
Remember when you did the PC theme build off? Something like that with Luke. One of you has the dark side as a theme and the other one the opposite. I think would be pretty cool.
Luke should do Jedi order
I agree👍👍
Best idea so far
YAASS PLEESSSS
5:46 *You mean.. Red and Green?*
NeoBlue that bothered me so much
I thought it bad then, i thought in amd cpu and nvidia gpu, but that is not that uncommon.
Red Green, duct tape is the true meaning of the universe
NeoBlue lol
Star Wars themed build
I'm really liking these videos they really remind me of the old Linus Tech Tips. This was the reason why I subscribed so long ago and it feels like greeting an old friend. I understand that most new subscribers are used to the high production value of the recent videos but man this is so grassroots LTT!
The obvious answer is that you should make one Jedi themed case and one Sith themed case :D
Would it be like making a super small ITX computer that looks like a lightsaber?
That would be awesome?
!
All the yes
the youve got to play star wars battlefront 2 on both
No Bounty Hunter themed SLI bridge.
2/10 Might not recommend to a friend.
In B4 Carbon Han SLI bridge gets made
Buy $10000 worth of lootboxes while in max settings SLI 4K. Full-EA mode.
The year of the micro transactions1
Do two different dark and light side build and put it together in one desk!! STAR WARSSS PC EDITION!!!
Who remembers Luke’s nuke build Linus should do something of the same sort
Pew Pew Pew - xXPewPewXx build a pc in a death star.
Definitely death star PC
millennium falcon or death star
Build 2 systems :
Galactic Empire w/ Black and Red Theme
Jedi's Order w/ Black and Green Theme
don't you mean silver/gray and green?
or blue and green
Whena Eindhoven with one purple cable obviously
wut he said -build to kick ass modded systems.
This most obviously
Make a system for both cards, each one with lit custom water cooling with the color of the card. So the tubes look like light sabers
Do a star wars theme based PC Build with the latest high end hardware and custom water cooling
Call it the Linus Order
1 tower 2 pcs, with those cards mounted vertically, one side painted white, the other black, one side AMD one side Intel.. you get the theme ;D
edit: Maybe a split Desk-Pc build? :D
Wow that would be super cool
But would Intel be the Jedi Order side or the Galactic Empire side?
Oltsu Probably the Galactic Empire.. because they still have the bigger Market Share.. and have used shady tactics 7 years ago..
Friedrich Miller Haha xD
AMD isnt much better when it comes to shady tactics, but then again the jedi werent either. Warmongering bastards ;)
You need an sli setup with them to keep the balance in the force
Is anybody else concerned by the old rusted radiator just hanging out under the table?
Bullet25 that's a chiller
It’s a chiller cause it’s cool as
Wtf is that shit for
I was wondering the same thing!
I was but then i remembered its Linus. So as janky as something looks..
Hes got it
7:14 That's some good Spiderman skills you got there!
Oh, Luke and Linus together building a star wars them pc or desk set up.
Each one of them building a PC. One for the light side and the other the dark side.
Mark Smith that's also cool
This is what we need.
Don't remember what it was called but they need to use that plasma ram :P
Build a deathstar pc and play battlefront
Jedi Order and Galactic Empire are from different Star Wars eras but the Jedi did exist when the Empire was in rule, it just wasn't as big as it once was.
Thirds also, it wouldn't make too much sense if one was just the rebels, as only one rebel was a Jedi, and the galactic Empire are definitely the most iconic star wars villains
I think he meant more than the tech in the jedi order would have been a gtx 8800 or something. Haha
Star Wars movies are pretty close to reality believe it or not.
We surpass the movies when it comes to some things.. like mobile devices, monitor quality etc, we now got holograms too. but unfortunatly where we have advanced proccesing and audio visual tech, we have not improved efficiency of power etc much. The technologies used by public is at least 30 to 50 years behind the secret underground military technologies. That's why Star Wars is a secret reality behind the scenes.
Do a competition between different people at LMG, each in one team (JEDI, or EMPIRE), to see which side can make the best PC.
That's such a good idea.
Good, GOOD!
Noice
Staryard Wars: Jedi vs. Galactic Empire
I did not see you there (crash)(crowd laughter sound effect goes off)
Ahh the good ol days
Build a Star Wars themed system. Stuff that hardware into one of those 1/2 scale R2D2 toys.
Star Wars themed builds, One Jedi and one Sith. GO
Scrapyard Wars: Star Wars edition.
Make a Jedi Vs Empire build off using these cards and see which looks better.
2:25
WTF is that?!?!?
why is there a fridge compressor and rad covered in gaffer tape? please explain LMAO
You’ve probably figured it out by now but, that thing is his CPU chiller used to cool CPU’s to sub-zero temps.
TITAN Xp SLI on Ryzen Systems vs Intel Systems , Want to see bottleneck and be done once and for all ? never did this LTT !
You won't see a bottleneck if you max out the settings and play in 4K...
You should do a competition one team gets the light side and the other team gets the dark side and they need to build a pc based around the graphics card
STAR WARS LANPARTY!!! ;D
I agree!!
I really like these videos, the format seems more real and genuine one or two every week or so would be nice. The live ones are really good too as it lets us interact during the stream and possibly ask questions
It's good to see the Light and Dark side finally working together.
The most obvious thing is to do two casemods with them!
Buy the supply drops to unlock the cards full potentional.
Cue the Linus dropping things compilation
It's seven months later and we still haven't seen anything. A follow-up on this is something I'd actually like to see.
make a Millennium Falcon pc with these graphic cards
Abracadaflouf what's an Aluminum Falcon?
How about
Millennium Falcon For the Jedi Order Card
Slave 1 for the Empire card
Yes, just Yes
No put the galactic card into a tie bomber ship since they are the larger vessel on it would look cool with the red led’s glowing through the ship
well excuse me if a dark lord of the sith couldn't protect an exaust valve that was only 2m wide! THAT THING WASN'T EVEN FULLY PAID OFF YET!!!
You should make two pc's out of them, one jedi themed and the other galactic themed!
msk1995 the force of balance.
You could build a PC made entirely of collector's edition components. Although, I can't imagine collector's RAM being too common.
There is the corsair dominator hot rod edition. I guess you could call those "collectors" as they were limited.
The GSkill Raiden memory. Like force lightning
Or power supply?
Corsair's chrome and brushed metal domplats
I think the two hardest would be the motherboard and power supply.
a themed build for each card would be awesome liuns
Next year's scrapyard wars: each team gets one of the cards and you have to make a build around that theme (galactic empire getting black and red, jedi order green and silver/grey)
Benchmark each one and see which side won :P
I'd like to see this as well.
Why the dark side of course, no one can resist the dark side!
That would be really cool to see
I keep dropping frames, I should really add more RGB. Thanks for the suggestion!
Im getting classic linus tech tips video format vibes from this video
Build to systems, one themed after one card and one themed after the other.
I heard that this cost as much as a hero in battle front 2
with all dlc´s
Tuck hahahah
And apparently takes as long to configure and get to work as a hero unlock.
I'd build a dual set-up in one case(maybe like HP Omen). Like one for the "white" side and the other the "dark" side. plus seperate them with a line or something since both happens in different timelines and structure one a little more futuristic, you know. add some sound effects when you turn on the dark side like the darth vader sound "kkhhhhttt". or even add vaders chest part as powerbutton _ and on the other side a light saber to pull or two light sabbers wich light up when the power is on _
and No RGB needed, Linus!
you'll get those "extra 15 fps" fom the dark side!
just trowing some spontanious idea xD
Aleksi134 Thank you for the Information. It wouldn't be a big of a problem for me because I'm not as familiar with star wars as you are, sorry. I think it would be cool and unique.
Cheers
I'd love to see you guys mod the stand, so the card is in the display in case, but is also being used a same time.
These are the best kind of videos.
galactic epire build with tredripper and a black case
vs
jedi order build with core i9 xe and a wite case
Albin. Gaming I think it's the other way around, AMD is rebellious and Intel is the galactic empire
Ravel Hidersunk but according to color scheme Amd is totally Galactic empire
No idea what a tredripper is...
Play battlefront on a 2 gamers 1 cpu thing but use different graphics cards and you have to be on the side of what your graphics card is.
thatd be good if you were even able to choose what side you're on
RS Guitarist You can in the first two.
RyanRising well yeah but what's the point in using Titans for that, you could run the first two easy on a 10 year old laptop with an integrated chip
@LTT do this!
Yes, I love the Christmas colors of black and green
Put them in a *Star Trek* themed build, just to make the hardcore Star Wars fans lose their shit. _Hehe_
YES YES YES YES YES!!! Make it happen XD
That's evil.... I love it!
Some man just want to watch the world burn. .haha..good idea man..
STOP PRE-ORDERING VIDEO GAMES! Liked
and use amd cpu, corsair cpu cooler with nzxt fans
Best Idea: Give them to me.
You're right, give these cards to me! Each of them is more powerful than 4 times my graphics card.
oooooooooor me. :D
Or how about someone who's never had a gaming PC once in their life other than that one time they went to Office Depot but only got to use it for a minute??? :D
K!NG Some people didn't even see (so also not used) a gaming pc kappa...
Yes, that's me.
I grew a beard trying to find the bottom of this comment, as I originally went too far down and got lost.
was that weird home made water chiller made out of a dehumidifier under the table?
I like this video format, Feels like the old times :D
Who wants to bet that Linus dropped the cards right after the video was filmed
actually i would post to drop them but anw i bet yes :D
Use them as lightsabers and have a sword fight and totally smash them against each other.
CtG That's not a bad shot. Have them use the pcie extenders they used on that wallputer video. /s
Ren are you suggesting they do a lightsaber battle while plugged in?
That's not bad actually lol, Plug em in to separate computers with long extensions, start the benchies and have a role-played battle jedi vs sith until one of the cards gives out. That'd be kinda awesome XD
Unsubscribe if they do that
Gotta do a water cooled led coloured pc with some star wars graphics on the side. Whether it was a red build and a green build or a dual green and red led build with two separate piping systems and reservoirs in the pc.
Yeah red fluid for dark, green for light, and grey for cpu loop, and put that in destroyed deathstar case :D OMFG! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME
Love you Linus! Pleas keep making content like this!
Create an ultimate Star Wars themed rig and play Star Wars Battlefront on it, from oldest Battlefront to newest and compare the fps.
Yes
Yes is good thought
Zipp4Everyone Okay, I see you point of view. It's understandable but one counter-argument that I'll throw out is that EA is a business and businesses (not that I like it) are supposed to make money first and other issues after. Unlike politicians and governments who are supposed to always do the "right thing" and look after the people (although there are many many many countries where that's not true). But I guess I do love Star Wars more than the issue that people dislike so I am biased. If it was any other game I would probably be on the opposite side because I don't play many games. Thanks for the convo anyway. I always appreciate another (informed) point of view.
but does it include Lootboxes that has star card that allows me to have higher FPS!?
It includes Need For Greed: Lootbox edition with each order of these cards.
They realized their mistakes and don't put it
Lol right
Muammar Gibran temporarily
The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for buying different graphics cards.
what the f**k is that janky radiator setup at 2:25
I was looking through the comments just to see whether am I the only one confused... what is that, Linus?
This is where I paused to peruse the comments also.
Yeah, same here, I have no idea what this thing is supposed to do. Maybe a hint for a next video about liquid cooling with 1$?
It was on floatplane. It's an old AC unit he's using to cool a threadripper in a future video. Apparently it's been a project for at least 8 years.
I also want to know lmfao
Love the candid unboxing, nice.
Strap the whole unit on a clear backpack (battery packs included), then secure the Star Wars themed backpack on Linus and have him ride on one of Casey Neistat's hoverbikes.
When will the results come in from the mining experiment?
F mining
F mining
F mining
Hey i dislike the gpu prices just as much as you guys but im genuinly curious aswell.
We wanna see a drop test on these cards
CampingShadowComplex No need for a dedicated drop test video, Linus will probably drop them in the next video with them. Lol
same case 2 water cooling hard tube system, pumps shaped like light sabers tons of green and red rgb and side by side 2 cards, working in balance.
Deathstar Case
Super star destroyer case
YES!!!!!
Or both
I think a full on mod (2 mods then) that matches the colors on each card inside a case that showcases the cards - like the Shift or Shift X... somehow i think a vertical card is needed here, with the cooler front and centre
Release the video jsut before Episode 8 - Your Welcomed :)
Make them fight against each other(As in, benchmark one against the other and see on which GPU one the silicon lottery)
i love u linus cause ur making a living doing wat u love
Full dual-chamber- Darkside-Jediside PC-build pls
Have them both face off against each other.
One player on a Jedi build, the other on the Sith, head-to-head on Star Wars Battlefront.
2:24 Da fuck was that thing on the right??
DrShrimpy i
A radiator.... For something... That needs to be... Deraidated?
DrShrimpy it's part of the TV. Soundbar with tv control board (?) You can see it in video where they built the "TV window"
It's a chiller
An artificial lifeform slowly cobbling itself together from the myriad spare parts found around Linus' office.
1:16 that looks like the button they use to turn their light saber on or i'm just stupid
A Person I always thought they just used the force... guess I'll have to Google it.
So after googling I found that they usually have buttons that require to be held down by a hand or the force. So yes I would say those could potentially be those buttons.
Imagine having these in 2021 where all current GPU prices a fvcked up!
Are you trying to balance the force to the galaxy with having one of both? ;)
Build 2 PCs. One for each card and benchmark them against each other.
i9 7980XE VS Threadripper 1950x
But, which one is the dark side???
Gaming on Fire amd darkside obviously
Gaming on Fire Intel is the Empire. AMD is the underdog resistance force that refuses to die
AMD = Red = Dark Side, Nvidia = Green = Yedi
Gaming on Fire the galactic empire gpu should be paired with the threadripper since it has red lighting
