Flat speakers are overrated. No one would actually want a flat speaker I don't think. You want one that can produce evenly but flat sound is not good sound.
Perhaps, but double-blind research from Olive and Toole from Harman suggest otherwise. People prefer a speaker with a flat anechoic frequency response, but it also has to behave off-axis. This translates to a better in-room response because the reflections are also more similar to the original source signal. If flat doesn't sound good, that would imply the source signal isn't good. It's typically the room that screws things up. So the debate is more about how to voice a speaker so it sounds good to most people in most rooms. Some people don't agree with Olive and Toole and they believe their method of designing a speaker is superior. I'm all for it. I want to try it all.

Hey BR03, it's going very bad right now... please carry on with the Triangle stuff, speak about me a bit. I'm bit sick with the way u play with my woofs, see what I mean ?
Are you crazy ?
Aesthetics rule!
about as important as the speakers in a television.
