Little things count and one thing that annoys me is when a TH-camr shows clips from different games without sharing the name of the said game. Thanks for adding the titles in the corner. Much appreciated.

As a Sega kid, I still have a lot of love and admiration for this console. This and Genesis released during a time where as a kid you could only ask your parents for 1 console, and whatever you didn't get you just went to that kid in the neighborhood who got the other one lol. It was a great generation of gaming especially for arcade style games

Then there would be that rich kid that had both sega and super nintendo lol. Games were really expensive for the time too. Pretty much everyone was picking them up used from blockbuster or the local grocery store. I remember picking up rocket knight adventures for like $15 at my grocery store just cause I thought the cover looked cool and it ended up being my favorite sega game of all time.

I knew NES was something in US because of movies like The Wizard. But It was weird when I started to read about, watch AVGN and so much content about NES History on US, that I finally saw how huge NES was in America. I mean, It was the only console. While here was completely the opposite. Yeah, you certainly were different. A kid that had SMS in US was certainly an odd individual lol

@@3xperiment8 oh yeah, NES was ginormous in the states, and Nintendo was not into the idea of competition at all. so much so that they told 3rd party companies like Konami, Capcom, etc that if they worked with SEGA, Nintendo would no longer work with them. which is why SEGA mostly had to push out their own games for the SMS, because very few companies dared to call Nintendo's bluff.

SNES Doom in blood red was a turning point for Nintendo as games were notoriously censored for years, but by the end of the SNES life cycle Nintendo allowed more violence. Also SNES Doom was the first time I got to play Doom as I was not a PC gamer at all back then and I loved it even at its 10 frames per second bc it was unlike anything I ever played before. It introduced me to the FPS genre
