Generally speaking, I think it’s best for women to date men 7-10 years older. Combine this with women seriously looking for a husband in their early to mid twenties would give them a much better chance of success! If women do find yourself in your 30’s and single, you’re either too career focused, you’re making terrible decisions when picking men or you’re too picky! Sure men get baldness (which is essentially curable now with surgeries, see Elon musk) and Ed (also usually highly treatable) but the real point is these are not significant hurdles to being attractive and tend to occur later in life. Men on the other hand statistically HIGHLY value youth and beauty in women, arguable it makes up the lion's share even of attractiveness, where as women just don't value youth the same and beauty is a more fluid concept to them. Therefore, men become the ones spoiled for choice as the dynamic shifts past 25 for women. It's like an attractive 18-22 year olds life experience for men at 30. And the very same desire to "discover themselves/not settle down too quick/taste the fruits of variety" is just as appealing for men as it was for women.

I've a close friend who's autistic that was caused by his mother having him at 43. He has the intellect of a 12 year old. He cannot learn job skills for more than most entry level jobs. He suffers from schizophrenia & depression. He's incapable of living on his own & must live with & be financially supported by his family for the rest of his life. This is what you're encouraging.

Point 1 4:00 is absolute truth. I prefer the maturity of girls mid 30s but the pressure is just too much. You can’t even have a normal progression because the biological clock is ticking like a jackhammer. They expect you to have a serious relationship and marriage within 6 months. I worked very hard to be successful and have a great life so that kind of aggressive timeframe is a huge turnoff.
By "mid 30s" the motherhood option should already be off the table, for a single childless woman. I'd want a childless couple life for 2-3 years before trying for a kid. So were I looking to be a dad, I'd rule out any candidate over 32.

Exactly. So many videos in my feed on dating are from so called "alpha" males. A lot of what they say is true, but overall is negative. It took me some time to dig, but finally coming across a female perspective is nice.
I found my SO in my 30s & so did lots of our my family/friends. We all lived & had fun in our 20s. I didn't even want to get married tbh. I had planned to live my best life & then eventually adopt, egg freeze, get a sperm donation or go through surrogacy to have a child. I met my guy when I least expected it. We're now married, I'm pregnant & we also plan to adopt.
That’s really awesome! I sadly got married in my 20s (no kids). I’m now reentering the dating pool due to leaving the abusive and grooming relationship (he was 9 years older). This gives me hope that I can still find a real connection and start a family.

I hear all of what you're saying... a couple I know recently married and she's 11 years older than him. He's mature for his age, and a very kind guy, but I don't know if that sort of thing would work for me. I have been told I am an old soul by people once they get to know me. I am 30 but am often confused for someone much younger because of my baby face. I would like to find someone within a couple years of me because that's the age I am most attracted to. But I also don't want to limit myself if there's someone older or younger who would be a good match. As it is I have gotten attention from men my parents' age and older, and I just don't see these men like they see me. I like outdoorsy stuff, hiking, camping, etc. but a lot of men I meet aren't into that. I'm just frustrated because I have had so few relationships and the guys I have been with were just all Peter Pans and kind of childish. My last ex didn't hardly want to leave his place. This is a nice video that unfortunately has a rather limited view. Perhaps the demographic she is basing her theories on is to blame. Mostly I heard the reasoning of the urban, upper middle class. Even so, she missed some key points in my view. Many men, upon reaching the mid 40's, realize that they don't and never did want children. Other men in their 40s have already had children, been divorced and lost half their life, but still paying for the x and children. In today's society, America to be specific, women are often seen as a risk for men. Especially men who have built a successful career and life. Not all men are willing to risk losing everything just to have a companion/partner. Many men won't even put themselves into a dating situation for fear of inadvertently looking too long at the cleavage the woman deliberately displays on a daily basis and finding themselves slapped with a sexual harassment charge. By the time a man is 40, he learns that it is safer to stay on the job or home alone.

Point 1 4:00 is absolute truth. I prefer the maturity of girls mid 30s but the pressure is just too much. You can’t even have a normal progression because the biological clock is ticking like a jackhammer. They expect you to have a serious relationship and marriage within 6 months. Exactly. So many videos in my feed on dating are from so called "alpha" males. A lot of what they say is true, but overall is negative. It took me some time to dig, but finally coming across a female perspective is nice.

I found my SO in my 30s & so did lots of our my family/friends. We all lived & had fun in our 20s. I didn't even want to get married tbh. I had planned to live my best life & then eventually adopt, egg freeze, get a sperm donation or go through surrogacy to have a child. I met my guy when I least expected it. We're now married, I'm pregnant & we also plan to adopt.
That’s really awesome! I sadly got married in my 20s (no kids). I’m now reentering the dating pool due to leaving the abusive and grooming relationship (he was 9 years older). This gives me hope that I can still find a real connection and start a family.

I did not said having a relationship with someone so much older is not gonna work. But I think it will be easier if you have it with someone who is in the same stage of life as you are in. You need to find someone with mutual interest.

I hear all of what you're saying... a couple I know recently married and she's 11 years older than him. He's mature for his age, and a very kind guy, but I don't know if that sort of thing would work for me. I have been told I am an old soul by people once they get to know me. I am 30 but am often confused for someone much younger because of my baby face. I would like to find someone within a couple years of me because that's the age I am most attracted to. As it is I have gotten attention from men my parents' age and older, and I just don't see these men like they see me. This is a nice video that unfortunately has a rather limited view. Perhaps the demographic she is basing her theories on is to blame. Mostly I heard the reasoning of the urban, upper middle class. Even so, she missed some key points in my view. Many men, upon reaching the mid 40's, realize that they don't and never did want children. Other men in their 40s have already had children, been divorced and lost half their life, but still paying for the x and children. In today's society, America to be specific, women are often seen as a risk for men. Especially men who have built a successful career and life. Not all men are willing to risk losing everything just to have a companion/partner. Many men won't even put themselves into a dating situation for fear of inadvertently looking too long at the cleavage the woman deliberately displays on a daily basis and finding themselves slapped with a sexual harassment charge. By the time a man is 40, he learns that it is safer to stay on the job or home alone.
