I am completely excellent at planning things at night. I will buy the paint, brushes, protective clothing, goggles etc. . . . One year later they are still in the hall. I’ve successfully not done getting people in to mend my fence, cut my lawn, mend my windows. I have lots of plans written down too. I am very good at ignoring my ‘to do’ lists. Thank you for your very good advice. I’ll try again, I know how pleased I am when I do something. x

Hey Dan, I completely relate to the inertia concept and I like your suggestions, however I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for an autistic PDA'er like myself.
Because if you know anything about PDA, you'll have an idea of how much of a cluster-🤬 this can be; like a 💩 sandwich with a side of ☢️ fallout 😖

Sadly none of these work for PDA cause it all feels like I'm trapped and I'm being forced to do things even though I want to do them. Also I hate sleeping cause it resets what I'm into during the day. For example I can be full on music practice and production and creation mode then I have to eventually go to sleep and when I wake up I can't even imagine doing anything that I've done during the previous day without something triggering the hyperfocus back on it and that happens rarely, usually i move onto some other special interest. When I was just trying to take things chill i tried to make a weekly schedule for playing games with my GF like FPS monday, MMO sunday, RPG Tuesday etc. but I couldn't even finish one week of it. And those were all games I wanted to play. Just because it was planned in advance my brain was trying to stop it from happening.

The way the subtitles are animated (i.e. zooming into position and creating a blurring trail) is visually excruciating and when there's only 1-3 words on screen at a time, it also makes them not actually that useful as subtitles. I genuinely cannot watch this video. Best of luck to you, but I'm going to have to find somebody else to cover this subject.
