because the doubled G string is actually higher than the B and E strings making it sometimess sounds really wierd when your soloing in the treble strings don't know if thats why he did it but why i would hope that halped

They're fake... he explains them in another video. I am currently trying to persuade my girlfriend to put some nail hardener on my finger nails (which she hates) as they keep breaking. Clearly fake nails are the way forward.
