This was how I was introduced to JBT, caught it on PBS at like 3-4AM one night. Was mesmerized and didn't understand was I was seeing/listening too, but it was fucking awesome.

This song is soooo special to me... My husband and I have been seperated for over a year... living apart has been so hard. We've gone through so much without each other. Missed out on our two kids' milestones together... Holidays... everything for 18 months. Through the seperation though, we've become great friends. Something we never had before... it's so incredibly bittersweet. This song fits our situation perfectly....

Oh God.. what a fox! I saw him a few years back at KFOG Kaboom in SF.. he was/ is such a great musician. this song is truly my favorite. I can just believe how hard it would be to travel all the time, and how love would be greatly challenged. I don't think I could do it.

JBT!!! This song always does something magical everytime I take a listen. The St.Gallen version is pretty cool too, he adds that little accent lick in the begging, but Shannon's double bass arco bowing intro wins everytime, so melancholy to listen. 🤙
