I applied Frankincense to a mark on my face which had been treated by a skin cancer specialist. The mark didn't heal properly- was itchy and a small lump appeared. After a few months of regular application, the lump disappeared and the mark has nearly faded away! I love adding a drop of Frankincense to my Hydrating cream too! It is the best!

The itchiness happens during the healing process, yes even months later even a year. There is scar tissue which can also be broken down by the body. It sounds like you may have developed a keloid, which is basically a raised puffier scar more common in African American skin which is unfortunate as they have such nice skin! I'm so happy this worked for your scar. Next time try mixing it with some vitamin E oil as this usually needs a carrier oil.

I don't think it is good to take Franckinsence the way you asking us too! The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
It depends on the brand of that essential oil. Certain brands allow for internal ingestion. Check before you buy. For example, NOW brand frankincense cannot be taken internally, while Revive brand frankincense can. Hope that helps.

It’s certified therapeutic grade and you can take it internally. Doesn’t hurt to try it and save a ton of money.

If you use this for anti-aging you really should use a carrier oil like almond oil, you really should dilute it into a carrier oil!

You actually can only make the capsules right before you take them because the oils will dissolve them.
