    Très beau travail de détailing , bien expliqué , étape par étape . On apprend tous les jours avec des personnes comme vous qui prennent le temps. Merci de partager vos expériences et vos méthodes de travail. Un nouvel abonné de France qui est heureux d'avoir trouvé votre chaîne youtube. 20/20
    ps: la seule chose où je pense que vous pourriez gagner beaucoup de temps et d'efficacité est pour le nettoyage des tapis de sol avec les poils de chiens ( ça fonctionne aussi très bien sur les moquettes ou les sièges en tissu . Au lieu de galérer avec l'aspirateur , il suffit d'utiliser des gants de vaisselle en caoutchouc en frottant simplement , et ensuite passer l'aspirateur au fur et à mesure. Beaucoup plus rapide je pense , sinon tout le reste , nickel

    A really nice vid and a decent job on the interior detail, I have subbed as I like the format and the effort you put into the detail and vid; however, when applying the dressing product to the plastics and the cleaning product to the glass - another top tip would be to apply the product directly to the micro fibre cloth not the glass as this avoids the overspill of the glass cleaning product onto the plastics you just detailed and you can accurately apply the detailer to the plastics instead of a more random spray to the area. Just thought of passing on a tip I use as you have done the same in the vid you posted. Anyway, keep up the good work, I’m off to watch the next AG vid 👍👍👍👍😊

    Hey Joe. You are not supposed to use APC on carpets anymore. It has just been found out that it flattens the fibres and in the long run makes the carpet more sustainable to dirt and to be worn down. You Can watch more on AMO NYC

    • @TheDetailHunters
      @TheDetailHunters  6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Hi Daniel. I think their experience with APC will come from products that are far more potent, a quality apc designed for the purpose will certainly not flatten fibres. There are instances where some strong chemicals can leave a sticky residue on fabrics and make them more susceptible to 'holding' soiling but i would not say they flatten fibres any more than a dedicated deep cleaning fabric product would do. Most of what will be left behind here is water, the lather (foam) actually raises out from the fibres as you agitate it and encapsulate the soiling, you then simply wipe this lather away and remove any of the residue whilst leaving little more than the water in the formula behind :)
      I must say i admire some of AMMO work but you can not believe everything you see on the web, any talking point is better than no talking point :)

    • @danielfl.9347
      @danielfl.9347 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good response indeed. I think I will stick to using something without alcohol content just to be sure. But you are right, much of what is on the internet is based on a subjective matter. Foaming carpet cleaner works like a charm for me. Great videos by the way! :-)

    • @Malborex
      @Malborex 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You change the ph level of the carpet if you don't remove the apc completly.

    • @rasta1017

    • @Roughdraft214
      @Roughdraft214 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Leave it to Larry to put a microscope to the carpet. Lol! Well I guess if I’m fattening fibers which attract more dirt then it’s a good thing I’m cleaning it regularly but from the naked eye, fibers seem alive and well.

      Adam Paulley APC look for them on Amazon brands that specialized in car detailing will get the job done although I've seen some use purple clean diluted and it works for them but Meguiar's just came out with some new APC pretty nice low foaming and pretty versatile also their regular APC works on the inside too. brushes you can find them in amazon too they go for about 12-20 bucks ish. Hope this helps I'm not a pro detailer just FYI.

      Devenir détailleur pro ? Commance par te procurer des produits et des outils nécessaires.
      N'utilise pas les plus hauts de gamme, pour débuter ce n'est pas l'idéal.
      Soit passiant, si tu fini un boulot comme celui ci en 15 min, c'est que tu l'as mal fais.
      Pour finir, regarde beaucoup de vidéos de plusieurs youtubers professionel différents mais qui parlent d'un meme boulot (réparation de rouille, nettoyage intérieur, entretien,...) pour en tirer un maximum d'astuces.

    Why didn’t you use steam or some rainbow brand vacuum (or something like that)?? The real dirt is hidden deeper in the material.

    Didn’t watch it all but it looked like a well put-together video. Nice to see you dressed for the occasion too (gloves). Too many people make “how to detail” videos and don’t even bother to put gloves on.
    However... you should have ditched the music and narrated instead.

  • @kevboutin

    I would not vacuum first as you will hit and kick up dust while doing headliner, dash, consoles, etc. Instead do top to bottom.

    • @TheDetailHunters
      @TheDetailHunters  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      resulting in you "kicking up the dust" on a freshly cleaned dash? Seems slightly backwards to me if I'm honest but whatever you feel comfortable with :) We always suggest doing an initial hoover to remove the bulk of soiling and then following up with a final hoover once complete to ensure no areas have been missed, like displayed at the end of the video. Nice to see/hear your opinion none the less, so long as the end result meets your own expectations nothing else matters. Thanks for the comment :)

    • @kevboutin
      @kevboutin 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that makes sense provided that you are vacuuming the dash, vents, etc. to get that loose dust. Perhaps doing a light vacuum at the end would serve well for overly soiled vehicles. Sometimes the job dictates the remedy. :) Great video btw.

    • @TheDetailHunters
      @TheDetailHunters  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      kevboutin certainly, with an already clean vehicle then it might only require a light vacuum as you say anyway. Thanks for the kind words 😊

    • @thetraindriver01
      @thetraindriver01 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      AutoGlanz I agree here, hoover (or vacuum for the Americans) would be good to remove the main bulk first 👍👍👍

    • @Roughdraft214
      @Roughdraft214 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you wipe the ALL the dust, the freshly kicked up variety along with the long standing kind while wiping your dash. Also If you do the dash fist you might leave a hand print or smudge somewhere while vacuuming, so there are downsides to doing it that way as well.

      Typical a full detail in the uk (which I assume is where he is from as it says hoover) ranges anywhere from £40-£60 depending how dirty the car is and also includes a full exterior wash, tyre dressing and if there isn’t that much on the paint they will throw in a de tarring for free.

    • @willieyoung2793
      @willieyoung2793 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bronze/Mini £25+ ..........Platinum with engine cleaning, wheel wells etc £100+ Like anything mate you get what you pay for. Not even started on paint correction. Think most valeters price way too low for the work involved. End up trying to rush to make up time and do a shite job. You know the sort..... £25 for a full valet 🙄

    ‘Hoover’ is a brand name.You mean ‘Vacuum’.

    • @TheDetailHunters
      @TheDetailHunters  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      silvio2372 yes, a brand name that quickly become associated with the term, still widely used to refer to a "vacuum" today. Much like many other items. A vacuum is known as a Hoover to many, many people which makes it a much more relevant word to refer to the tool. Not that it really matters to anyone and I'm sure "the Hoover company" will be happy. 😊
      Happy detailing.
