Mattias, thanks for your past suggestions. I used my Divevolk system for the first time diving this last month in Colombia and was so nervous taking my iPhone underwater, but it worked SO WELL. I may have sold a few units for Divevolk as everyone on the dive wanted to see the pictures and couldn't believe what I took using an iPhone. I watched your video course, which was very helpful. Can I bring my system on this trip and try out all the attachments for free? How much time will you spend giving video and editing advice? Have you had any experience using the iPhone as a dive computer as well as a camera, and if so, do you have any apps to suggest? Thank you!
Hey Peter, thanks for your feedback. I’m very happy to hear that you are enjoying your DiveVolk system.
Yes, we will have lots of DiveVolk accessories for trial on that trip. I cannot promise to have ALL accessories available, but between DiveVolk and myself we will have most accessories available for testing. And of course there is no extra charge for any testing.
There will be 4-5 “formal” 60-90 minutes long presentations on various topics and Sebastian and myself will be available throughout the day for any questions that might come up. We haven’t had people walking away from such a workshop with unanswered questions in the past.
And lastly no, I do not have any experience using my iPhone as a dive computer and I can’t give you any recommendations on that unfortunately.

Been a subscriber to your channel for quite awhile & just seen this post which interests me a lot. Unfortunately at my age my computer skills aren't as knowledgeable as my diving (50 years since my 1st dive & several thousand dives around the world). I've tried to complete the application form using my tablet but it won't take the necessary information to enable me to do so. Since I've recently purchased a Divevolk housing and my first smartphone 20 months ago (due to covid restrictions I had to, in order to enter Raja Ampat, Indonesia in 2022) I want to learn u/w video using a smartphone & need to go on this trip. Have no computer-savvy friends or relatives to tell me what I'm doing wrong. Any advice how to otherwise book would be appreciated.

Is this open to larger camera systems?
Yes, the workshop/trip is open to all camera systems, no matter now big or small. If you’re into filming/taking photos underwater this trip is for you. 😉👍🏻
interested. But I would like to learn using my Canon mirrorless camera. Do i need to bring my own housing as I believe Divevolk only does housings for mobile phones. Do you think there are mirrorless or dslr type cams with housing for rent at the dive location? thank you
Sure, you’re more than welcome to join the trip with your mirrorless camera. DiveVolk doesn’t make any housings for mirrorless cameras and the local dive center doesn’t have any camera gear for rent, so you will have to bring your own housing on the trip.
