The hamburger bun in this ration is included as bread. It is used to make a peanut butter and jam sandwich. You could also toast the bun if required. Agree that a tea bag would be a nice addition.
Gooday MrBuckeroonie. Loved your video on ration packs. Know a lot about the original US military K Ration pak. Would love to compare those to the current menu. Was a former AFP Special Operations Team guy and would love to chew the fat over the older we are the faster we were. Ready to sell up and F Gough into the sunset caravanning fishing and fire to fork for the next 10 years.
We called the steel cup a "Canteen cup w/heating stand". When we were first issued canteens we would run boiling water through them a few times to get the bad taste out of them. Each of the MRE"s that we were issued contained 2000 calories of food in each pouch. When you bit into the "Towelette, Compressed Paper" the first time had me rolling. Diseases have always caused more casualties in combat then bullets. Great vid, keep 'em coming.👍
