update my watch strap coating on the sides smudged making a mess… So I removed it I wondered why they put this rubber coating on?… It was to hide the fact that it's not a genuine leather inside.(it's paper) What a stupid way to hide the middle of your watch strap. Then the strap started to de-laminate it's just paper , after I took off the Goo they used to hide what they did I had to glue it,Amazed what they will do to rip people off
I haven't seen one with a steel bracelet, and although you CAN just slap one on, most bracelets are polished or brushed steel. Haven't seen a bead-blasted bracelet. A polished or brushed bracelet would probably look weird with this case.
I understand that the second hand not landing on the markers is an issue common with quartz watches in every price point. I don't feel that's acceptable. I've reviewed super cheap watches where the second hand lands square on the markers all day long - it can be adjusted, but few companies in the lower price points care about attention to detail.

They actually do..but it's much less common..perhaps try nato or cordura?

just ordered it, with blue dial from Timex own shop. My orient chrono second hand also do not match the markers. It is 3 times the price.
