Tip: The keyboard hot keys are only recognized when they come from the keyboard device that is plugged into the socket that is specifically marked with the keyboard symbol. The same is true for the mouse gestures. They are only recognized when coming from the mouse device that is plugged into the socket that is specifically marked with the mouse symbol. Other keyboards and mice, plugged into the hub sockets, are not treated specially, and hot key and mouse gestures from them are ignored.
Keyboard switching is CTRL+CTRL (don't hold it stroke it twice) and then strike number (1 or 2 or 3....). All keystrokes need to come in rapid succession
Hello, do You still use this device? Could you post some info about Infrared remote contrroler? Some model number? Do you have tools to scan codes that this remote uses?
Im using a 2 PORT USB HUB, do I have to connect HDMI from both PC and the USB provided along with the product at the same time? I thought the USB from the product serves as a display for both PC and the other HDMI port is optional.
Awesome specs for the price... I'm wondering what's the catch, I'd love to see someone open it and go through all the components onboard :) Did you notice if it spins your PC fans when you turn off the PSU but leave the laptop on? Apparently that's a thing with cheap hdmi switches, quite a headscratcher :D
I have a logitech MX Master mouse that i wanted to share with 4 machines though it only supports 3 Bluetooth options. This put me on the path that led me to buy this. I’m VERY PLEASED with it. I can’t believe the quality at any price. I couldn’t find any other devices that could do 4K video and USB-C.
Three laptops isn't the problem, You just wouldn't be able to use more than one monitor on this model without using a separate hub. Even then, I feel it would be more efficient to use a kvm switch hub with multi display support.
Man you are blind.. 05:26 - you SHOW the methods to switch. It says Double Click the Scroll Lock Key and then the number you want to switch to. I had a KVM switch about 20 years ago used similar to switch. Try that 🙂
I learned a ton from watching this and your link takes me to a product that is not available on amazon. I'd love to get your input on my set up and you get credit for the purchase. Do you have an email address?

Is it possible to switch the PC with the key combination Ctrl + 1/2/3/4 ?
Only the right Ctrl works, or is it possible to use the left one too?
Have you tested it actually in 4K 60Hz? Is it working OK? Cheers
Did you get the webcams to work? Did you have to use a power usb hub or anything?
Hey Nate - webcam does indeed work. I used a c920 and works just fine between 2 machines with regular zoom use.
HI there. Great vid and explanation. Have you tried running a dual monitor setup on this? Would it work?

Hi. is it okay if I only use this for my KB and mouse toggle? I already have a bi-directional switch for my monitor using DP cables.
Completely fine. Simply don't plug in your monitor and it will take care of the peripheral toggles just fine.
does it feature audio switching via HDMI as well?
Yes indeed it does
@@rudezworld4560 thank you!
Did you try using this with wireless 2.4Ghz Keyboard/mouse combo? Did it work?
Hi I tried with a 2.4ghz logitech mouse and keyboard combo (1 connector for both) and it worked.
@@akambibellow9914 Hey, thanks for answer bro.👍
