That's a sweet drive! The car rides amazingly well even on camera.

Any opinions Barrie

Gerry Thank you, and thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I am a big Rangie fan, i think the X 5 is a good looking vehicle but i hate the way they drive, with run flats on it feels like the tyres have been replaced with grinding discs, also the tyres never look like they have a lot of tread on even when they are new (on the outer edges) and i find the cars that don't have a pan roof very claustrophobic, but i wouldn't buy a BMW with a pan roof as they break if you sneeze in the cabin and then it costs you a £1000 for a new roof cassette, when its only a 10p bit of plastic that cracks that you cant replace, and also a days mechanics labour to fit it, then a day at the valeters to get the mechanics oily hand prints of your roof lining, give me a Rangie every time, i like to float to where im going not wrestle with the steering wheel all the way there, but thats just my personal opinion :-)
Barrie Crampton appreciate your time to reply to me Barrie
You have convinced me to stay Land Rover
Look forward to watching more of your reviews
Regards gerry
@@gerryr1893 try it yourself, lots of people like them, it could be just me
I think that's a little unfair the range rovers are the most unreliable cars on the market. The X5 doesn't handle like a whale and is better built. I'll agree the steering is heavy but a great car
best review,what years that please.
gafta123 gafta123 2009 i think it was this one www.ggcars.co.uk/detail/232825/bmw-x5-diesel-estate-3-0-xdrive-3-0d-m-sport-5dr-automatic
Hi Barrie,
what would you say is the best SUV which is the most quiet at motorway speeds?
Thanks J
Range Rover, and X 5 with run flats on is pretty noisy
@@BarrieCrampton Ok Barrie i'll have a nosey at the Range Rovers, Thanks
