Recently I installed the solid tyre, cos i was tired of punctures, even though I had slime inside. I am using the solid tyre on front wheel ( the one without holes!) I must say this one is good! i checked few times the speed is not less at all! even its in some good roads faster than the normal tyre! next the mileage is also not bad at all, its similar with the air tyre, only one drawback is its really bumpy compared to normal ones, except that I used the solid one now 200 km+ ..highly recommended! I am adding this comment cos i know this is a big confusion, when u have a flat tyre!)
Which tire gets punctured more often? The one in the front or the rear one?
Batteries don't like shaking. So if the ride is not too bumpy, then good for you, but do understand that you may be negatively affecting the battery-life (but this cannot be quantified).
This is the very reason that some car manufacturers (e.g. Merc Benz) put the batteries in the rear-boot rather than in the engine-front-bonnet, i.e. there is (less heat and) less shaking in the boot.
@@Evisonsl in my case, I was tired of front tire punctures. The rear is still working well until now 1.5k km passed, all ok :)
@@kobusg7460 you are right, but with this solid tire I already used it 1k+ km now as I use this scooter regular to go to my work and no complain so far & battery life is also quite ok !
@@luluweder I agree with you; I have the same (good) experience. I think it is the guys that go truly "off-road" (i.e. gravel roads and 'wild footpaths') that need / want pneumatic tyres.

Just boil kettle, put tyre in pot and pour hot water and leave for 10 minute, then dry with towel and quickly put on. Easy.

IMHO the stock brakes are rather average.
Solids all the way. No going back. The amount of distance I travel doesn’t make any difference in performance. Also when you see bumps in the road you avoid them. Or just lift the scooter up and jump.
but why all ppls say you lose distance with solids?
even with pneumatic tires I lose 3 kmh speed , if I do have 4 bar air pressure or less...
this is what makes the difference whether I can now drive 30 or 25 kmh
@@Bergwacht so solids are too hard and reduce speed and distance. But with tubes the harder you pump them the more speed and distance you get. It can't be both. Maybe because solids are heavier, but i dont think 200 gram will make much of a difference. Somewhere pirat said he gets 5 %less range with solids. I wonder how did he measured that having in mind that 5% is something that a temperature difference can give or is pretty much subjective

@@vladlu6362 actually that happened to me with solids, the back one was the one with holes in it, and I was very heavy, I smashed the solid tire and started loosing speed, but it happened because it has become soft
solid tires act similar like the PU wheels. i have a pro one week old on already flat. now i really want those solid tires. i mostly ride on eco mode 15kmh top. where can i get those solid tires. i think that solid tires has less drag tnah tube ones. better for gliding.
Mine is like going 3 weeks. Also the Pro. Front one got flat in just 1 week. Back one got flat just today. Good thing I already got the spare last jan 2.

How are you finding the anti puncture tape for long term use? I had some in for a week and they sliced my tube the whole way round so unable to repair
after 1year works great, just use some duck tape at the ends of anti puncture tape to hold it at one spot

dude ja zmienilem sam... i dzisiaj wlasnie przebilem znowu przod i bede zmieniac sam jeszcze raz. Przy przodzie jest tylko przewalone to ze trzeba silnik otwozyc by zawleczke do wentyla wyciagnac, reszta to pikus.

You have many videos about m365 tires, but have you tried making a tubeless tire? I've read and seen that the original tire could be used as a tubeless tire with slime. There are no English videos on this matter and I think you could be the best person to make a video about it and it would be much appreciated.

I have bought a back wheel with solid tyre from Amazon.de. Looking at it I don't think I would have been able to mount the tyre myself. It is awesome! I had a better drive in ECO mode. It seamed faster. With my 95 kilos I drowe 16 kilometres to-day.
This is the tyre I bought::www.amazon.de/dp/B07RNC2SXX/ref=pe_3044161_185740101_TE_item. Only adjustment was the disc brake. It is seated with two screws. You loosen them and move the suspension a trifle. Everything will work right from the start. I recommend-don't try to change tyres yourself! It is a nightmare! This wheel is the right solution. And it is rather cheap too!

lots of videos on utube, you can use big ass zips and slowly place it on the rear rim

nope man , I think max speed could 34-35 but some extra FW mod is needed , usually can't go faster than 32. To increase speed to 40km/h+ U need to use battery with higher voltage and maybe upgraded ESC

Just use thicker Pneumatic tyres or tubeless tyres for the Xiaomi M365/M365 Pro. Had to buy thicker pneumatic tyres here in NZ to replace my M365 tyres and now int he process of replacing the stock tyres with it.

Hi, just a quick review ... The "softer" variant really slows the scooter down a lot; real maximum speed down from 27 to 24, and the feeling is like with eco-mode. Going reasonably uphill (worked fine before) is too slow now, and about 3.5km (no hills) eats 28% battery (before it was like 15%). Reasons? Dunno. The wheel perimeter is shorter, it's maybe too soft, too coarse pattern, too heavy. I wouldn't imagine such difference, but now I'd rather avoid non-inflatable tires TBH. Anyone has different experience?
If you're only getting to 27 even before putting the tire on, your weight is the issue, the tires probably get crushed much more than the air tires from no air pressure inside as there's many other reports of people getting the same or better speeds using the tire

Also I used to have the m365 replica aka Swagtron. I returned it after one week and upgrade to Falcon Zero 9. Which is also quite few version and rebrands of this scooter.
Best of all is double the price of m365 here in America but is full suspensions and I clocked myself on Strava app doing top speed best run at 30mph!

Pro seems to be better out of the box, cause deck is bigger and steering bar feels much more solid. ofcourse dont forget about bigger magnets in motor ;)

I have had several punctures on my back tyre. Inspecting the original tyres, you will notice that they are only good up to a weight of 75 kilos!!! It is printed on the side of the tyre. As my weight is 95 kilos it will puncture and puncture and puncture. Because most weight is on the back wheel. That weight will exeed 75 kilos! You should be aware of that! The promoted 120 kilos is not relevant.
I noticed too, than realised both tyres have 75kg, so 100-150kg in total ;)
@@puikplan answer: The problem is that nearly all weight is on the rear wheel. I have a solid tyre now on the back. Bought as wheel and tyre.

Can confirm these are really nice, but very hard to put on. Protip; microwave them for like 2-3 minutes so the rubber gets soft. Makes it a lot easier, and just use a lot of power to pull that bitch on.

All I had to do was change the bolt from the front mudguard because it was too long and scratched the tire.

Erm well A run-flat tire is a pneumatic vehicle tire that is designed to resist the effects of deflation when punctured, and to enable the vehicle to continue to be driven at reduced speeds - under 56 mph - and for limited distances - generally between 10 mi to 50 mi, depending on the type of tire. So it’s not the same as a solid is it! You’ll have to run at reduced speed and get it changed ASAP as it’s for limited distance. With a solid there’s no reduction in speed whatsoever nor do you need to worry. Ok DUDE!!!
