Really like the Loch Quoich area. My ascent was from the path further east, which you alluded to on your ascent. A real shame the shower came when it did to deny you all a view, which I recall is an excellent one. Thank you again gents for sharing it, thoroughly enjoyed it.
A stunning place Charlie, loch Quoich, the weather not been great recently, still to get this one done, but looking forward to getting back up there ATB Ally 👍
Lovely part of the country. 😊 Took me a couple of goes to get a view from up there on account of the changeable weather. Sadly, i fear map reading is fast becoming a forgotten skill, which is a shame. I must confess to using GPS more these days, but it's nice to have a detailed sense of what's on the ground as well. I do like GPS for marking the position of a bag or a camp mind. Keep up the good work chaps. Really enjoy your travels 👍
Hi David, I agree, I wouldn't go without the GPS as its very handy and a great accompliment to the map and compass. Really glad you enjoy tagging along. Cheers
Hi Brian, No thunder and lightening this time so no problem in getting to the summit. We've had a couple of blue sky days on this top in the past but another one yesterday would have been nice. Cheers
Nice walk a good Munro for views in my opinion and an interesting ascent route different from the approach I did up the ridge near the bridge excellent stuff thanks
Hi Andrew, We have always went at this hill for this direction as we generally tag it onto the other two or take it as a single on route home from Knoydart. It's a bonnie top with stunning views. Cheers
Hi Charlie, lovely video as always, very atmospheric conditions, some stunning views over to Knoydart, thank you for sharing your adventure as always, all the best Dave. 😀🥾⛰🏴
Great camera work as always Charlie 🎥 + great commentary as always very helpful to us new guys finding routes up mountains YT is a very handy place to find information on hikes 👍
Hi David, Yes, I wish YT was around when I started out as its great for seeing the landscape beforehand and help with route planning. We could do with a bit of summer weather for a change or perhaps frost will be the next thing on the tops 🤣 Cheers
Haven't heard "the book takes you that way" for a while. With maps, that was all there was when I started 😂. Your topographical knowledge is priceless - thanks for sharing. Another great video.
Hi Annie, Yes, we are dinosaur and still use a map and compass. I always thought the preparation of looking over the maps ahead of an outing and deciding upon the preferred route is a big part of the enjoyment. I'm not sure that's true nowadays as it seems many just take the "walkhighlands" option and get on with it. We also carry GPS's but the old method forced you to be more aware of your own walking times and accuracy of map reading. It's all great fun and folk have just got to get on with what they are happy with. Cheers
Great video despite the weather closing in. Great to see an area I don’t know at all. I managed a couple of days in the Cairngorms and Glenshee last week with better weather than forecast so that was good! All the best Murdo
Hi Murdo, The better weather days aren't quite matching or availability at the moment but just got to get on with things. The east has looked better than the west through last week so glad you managed a few tops. Cheers
Nice one Charlie & Co. Is this the one you finished your last round on.? I remember watching you all sitting in the car with the rain absolutely chucking it down. Pity about not getting the views at summit. Stunning area up there Charlie and a quick hike at 3hrs. Must be getting near the end now Charlie. ATB Frank👍🏔🏴
Hi Frank, Yes, this was the top we completed on the last time. The weather yesterday was a wee bit better than that trip but we had expected things to be clearer. We've the last three to do in Knoydart and that will complete this current round but we could do with a couple of good days for the camping to fully enjoy the trip. God knows when that will be 🤣 Cheers
@@charliemccartney7055 brilliant Charlie you only have those 3 left, yeh you’ll be waiting for a good spell for those. You going in by boat or walking from loch hourn.?
Really enjoying watching your videos hope to get a few more in now I am retired very enjoyable watch again
Hi Kevin, Hope you enjoy your retirement now that you have a bigger weather window to chose from for heading out and about. Enjoy..... Cheers

Hi Jonathan, We have 50% clear view hit rate with this top which isn't bad. The views are amazing but just missed the summit view this time. Cheers
Nice wee hill and video despite the weather.
Hi Andy, Many thanks for taking the time to view, it's much appreciated 👍Cheers
A stunning place Charlie, loch Quoich, the weather not been great recently, still to get this one done, but looking forward to getting back up there ATB Ally 👍
Hi Ally, I agree, it's a cracking area with some rough mountains that provide a few challenges. Cheers

Good stuff Charlie. Those balancing rocks are always interesting to see.
Hi Andy, That boulder is quite impressive and must be about 3-4 ton. Quite a feature... Cheers

This was my completion Munro last September, you got exactly the same views as I got 😢😢
Hi William, This was our last completion Munro and our conditions were horrendous, you just can't win them all 🤣Cheers

Thanks, Charlie.
And good luck with the final three.
