We did Aruba & Curacao on MSC before the pandemic... Curacao is THE BEST. We will be doing this itinerary (very soon!) on the Horizon...simply to return to fisherman's beach 💜💜💜 the turtles are amazing.

We loved Curacao and didn't even do an excursion. So much to see and do in port. My husband got his favorite canvas painting that sits front and center in our living room

Hi guys! Beautiful footage of the sea turtles. Wowsy wow! So jealous. If I may ask what devices did you and Robert use to capture such gorgeous shots. It was amazing. Our cameras are inked in the description box and the cases are in our amazon store. That said the bright sunshine and clear water helped a lot with the filming. I did not need a filter for the cameras. Overcast weather and the cameras need a little help. This water was about 10 feet deep and blue ( not green) so that was a big bonus! If you are planning to film outside only in the cold you do not need a case. YES! This cruise is a MUST! We had so, so much fun and so many amazing and special experiences. Hi! It is listed in the description box as “underwater camera” I did pick up the 10 but the 9 was used here. The lighting was perfect that day so keep that in mind. Deeper water or less sun will not produce the amazing shots we got that day. It was just a perfect day for this. You’re going to have a BLAST! This was an amazing cruise. Hugs!

I would love to do this excursion!! Do you need to know how to swim? I noticed they provide life vest… I always wanted to do snorkel but I do not know how to swim. 😢
Hi.. being in open water like that you should have some basic knowledge of how to float or stay above the water. The vest does keep me floating but not everyone.. it is actually designed to only keep you comfortable, it is actually not a life saving vest... they do have those as well. This was a snorkel vest... We were not far from the shore and I never found myself actually swimming, more just kicking my feet to propel me in different directions.. my hands/arms were controlling the cameras. They will ask if you can swim. The turtles come up to the shore line where you can stand and see them... many people did that. It was amazing, I hope you can do it!
did you just take your regular go pro in the water or did it have a case?
Hi. I used my GoPro 9 without an additional housing or case. The water is very clear and relatively shallow and there were no clouds so the sun lit the ocean floor well making the picture quality amazing. Lighting makes all the difference. Have fun!

Hi! When my hair is long I use Slip hair ties, only buy on sale!! I’ve tried the knock offs and they just are not the same. Now I’m using some thin bands I grab at Walmart. Since I’ve had it cut any band will work. Hugs!

Hi, we have water pouches that attach around our waist. They hold our phone, wallet and cash. You just have to make sure you seal them completely - in all our cruises we have never had a leak!
