Turkish Fish Recipe! I never thought that fish could be prepared so beautifully and deliciously

  • If you are fond of cooking fish in the oven, then this recipe deserves your attention. I never thought that the most ordinary fish could be served so beautifully. Everything is just right in this recipe: a balanced marinade that gives the fish a special flavor and a baking method that makes the dish look very festive. Serve this fish with rice or bulgur as I suggest in my cooking video. Be sure to add lemon to the serving. Cook with love! Cook with joy!
    Ingredients and preparation:
    2 mackerel
    Other fish fillets can also be used
    Make incisions below the fins
    Cut in half and remove the innards
    Remove the head
    Do the same with the other fish
    Rinse inside and dry with a paper towel
    Now we need to cut the fillets
    Cut fins, remove black membrane
    Try to remove all the bones with the fish tongs
    Or use a knife
    Place in a casserole dish for marinating
    4 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    Black pepper
    juice of ½ lemon
    juice of ½ orange (or 1 teaspoon sugar)
    1/3 hot pepper
    Remove seeds and chop finely
    3 cloves of garlic
    Brush the fish with the marinade
    on both sides
    Let the fish marinate for 15-30 minutes
    Once the fish is marinated, cut the fillet in half
    You will have 8 pieces
    I need wooden skewers
    Wrap 4 fillet halves as shown in the video
    Pierce the mackerel fillets on both sides with the skewers
    Do the same with the remaining fillets
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
    Turn fillets over
    Brush with the remaining marinade
    Bake at 190°C for 28 minutes (top/bottom heat) + 1-2 minutes on the grill at maximum temperature
    Bring 2 cups of water to a boil
    Salt
    1 cup bulgur wheat
    2 red onions (medium)
    Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil
    Fry onions for 2-3 minutes until soft
    1 large tomato
    1 yellow pepper
    ½ red pepper
    ½ hot pepper
    Fry for 5 minutes on medium heat
    Salt
    Black pepper
    1 teaspoon of sugar
    1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    Fry for another 1-2 minutes
    Add a pinch of dried basil (or use fresh basil)
    Remove the mackerel from the oven, flavorful and browned
    Garnish with rosemary while still hot
    I remove the skewers, the mackerel holds its shape well
    Mix the butter into the bulgur
    Serve the fish at mealtimes with a lemon wedge and a squeeze of lemon juice
