The most exotic i have is the Edward Green suede which is very soft to wear on your feet and because of it’s smoothness quite smart too. I don’t have the coin for the more exotic materials unless i was to sacrifice on the level of manufacture which i feel is more important to me.
It would be interesting to see some more bi material adelaides like the Meccariello principes and the Petru Claymoor model. Those are some really special shoes. A shiny, well shaped toe cap followed up with a captivating leather pattern just works so well. I’ve been looking around for some interesting exotic leathers to potentially commission my own unique bi material adelaide, so videos like these are helpful.
Zelikovitz sells smooth water buffalo bends for a very low price. I doubt it’s a reputable tannery. I read that water buffalo are not much of meat source in America but it’s common in Asia.
Nubuck and suede doesn’t require a ton of care. Crepe and wire brush and just a renovateur spray every so often. The bison and kudu I just care for like calf. Just need boar hair short brushes to get into the texture.

I might add ostrich legs but I’m not into the feather look. No reptiles yet.
