Grew up in FoCo. Got priced out. I miss it a lot. It's grown out of local love.
It really is a beautiful place, I am sorry to hear that - hopefully you are able to get back one day!
I have no idea where you got your information. But Fort Collins is one of the most expensive plants places to live. I have been here over 30 years and I can't believe how expensive it has gotten outrageous. Rent is out of this world. I think you need to revisit
Traffic is terrible in this town. It takes you 45 minutes to get from the West side of Fort Collins to the East and just about as long if not longer to get from the North into town to the South of town. Oh yeah. And don't forget if a train is coming through town your hosed, you might as well taking a nap.
I respect where you are coming from and appreciate your perspective. Fort Collins, like most of Colorado, has increased in price significantly. I was comparing its affordability to Denver.
Good content keep it up 👍🏿
Thank you so much for that, helps motivate me to make more, sincerely!🙏🏼
@@destinationdenvercoloradois Fort Collins a sanctuary city?
Very bike oriented, free public transportation
Thank you so much for watching and for the perspective!!
Traffic at 6pm is HORRIBLE. It is impossible to move on College Avenue.
I could see that being the case, thank you!!
You forgot the Poudre River and white water rafting.
I need to revisit this and add so many things I’ve learned along the way! Thank you for that!!
Poudre is pronounced Poo-der
I thought that was the case and still fumbled it - thank you!
BS. Fort Collins is home to the most illustrious professional thumbwrasslin' team in the northern hemisphere (outside of macedonia or guam).
This is the kind of insight I need - haha - thank you!
As someone has been living in Fort Collins since 2016 I've been curious how 😅 people think of our city of nearly 170k people
I need to spend more time up there, it’s such a beautiful area!
No professional sports teams? I call that a huge pro, not a con ;)
I find most people agree with you, it's not a big deal to them to not have that locally. Thank you for watching!
Just wondering...
Is there a lot of homelessness in Ft. Collins?.
Is it compatible to Boulder?
Every city certainly deals with homeless to some extent - but it seems very mild compared to around the Denver Metro and into Boulder.
Is there RV spots or camping so i can check it out ?
There is camping and RV lots all over the state - you’re covered there!!
What do you mean Colorado isn't known for water ..theres lakes everywhere 😅
There are some nice lakes throughout the state, but I don’t think we have a lot of traffic coming to Colorado for our water, especially as you get closer to Denver. The size of our lakes are also pond-like compared to some states.
Pronounced “ Pouder.” By residents. I lived there for 25 years and it is pronounced without emphasis just simply Poo-der.
Thank you, I’ll never say it wrong again!
A decage ago was so much better
I think a lot of people in Colorado would agree with you.
gotta deal with the snobs and rudeness of these people other then that it's okay, oh and how the city refuses to listen to the voters and build a stadium in spite that no one wanted it built with tax dollars. also know if you are a native or not on how to pronounce the names, you just showed you're a transplant by saying Poudre that way LOL next is mispronouncing colorado lol
I appreciate you watching and for your feedback. I’m actually a native of Lakewood Colorado closer to Denver - but thanks for the benefit of the doubt! Haha. I learned my lesson on Poudre, I’ll never get that wrong again.
