    What kinda horse power and torque does this application pump out? And really, what is the best tune you can get for this application and a stock f23a1 I have 3inch cold air intake, stock exhaust other than cat deleted. I'm around 157hp or so. Also another question, is there a tune possibly that can be adjusted via computer at home? Or is the only good tunning company going to be where you send off the ECU?

    I just noticed your block didnt have a oil splash shield under the , oh i dont know what we should call it, girdle/main lower oil passage assembly. I just put my f22a6 head on a f22b2 block and noticed honda left it out of soke of the models, the a6's block had one but the b2 didnt but had the provisions to mount it, as do you. Just pointing out an oddity. Also arent the f23 and h22 bores different?

    im wondering what do you use for a ecu and what program do u use to tune, this isnt the vitara on ectune is it. also what basemap do you start with

    • @EbayTurbo
      @EbayTurbo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am using a p28 with a moates Ostrich2 emulator and a datalogger called hulog also from Moates. I use Ectune as my tuning software which has set parameters to create a decent basemap.

    Man you skipped right past the part I needed to see. Trying to put the head bolts in to install the head. One of the bolts is longer but on the head the only difference is one of the holes is shorter. When putting it into that one it does not go all the way down.

    What type of head gasket and timing belt are you using for this? I would like to know because I am planning to do one.

    • @EbayTurbo
      @EbayTurbo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend using a Honda OEM MLS hg. It is about $40-50. A JE pistons one is great as well but you'll pay a little more. I just blew a cheap composite one in the worst way (video coming soon). If you aren't boosted and don't have a decent head/block surface than you can run a composite.

      Haha, you know, a flat piece of tempered glass is pretty dead nuts flat, under a tenth of a thou. This shit works if you sand w the right patterns and mic thickness as u go.
      I went w the a2 nippon racing pistons and doubled up hgs, should be upper 10s in compression, hoping to run 92 octane.
      I also went with Molnar h beam rods, got a bit nervous about those skinny f23 rod bolts but a lot of guys seem to have good luck w them.

    I know this an older video but I’m doing this swap now and curious how you were able to use the oil cooler from h22 on the f23a block? On my f23a1 there’s no oil cooler and the threaded piece for oil filter looks a little smaller than the one for the h22.

    • @EbayTurbo
      @EbayTurbo  ปีที่แล้ว

      my oil cooler comes from the F23A7 which is only on the 98 Ody. So in other words as far as I know this oil cooler is rare.

    • @EbayTurbo
      @EbayTurbo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL, Well I have several birds. I have a F550 DJi knockoff hex, a HMF s300 hex, (both with apm), a ZMR250, X220 Wizard (got a much better FC installed but I forget what is now), F330 DJI knockoff, and I think that. I started with aCheerson CX20 that I lost over a frozen lake. My own stick is a heavy modded Turnigy 9x (smartie board, ball bearing gimbals, FRSKY module, etc. ). I have some crappy lunchbox eachine fpv (d2x2?) but when I get a few extra bucks I'll invest in some proper goggles. Haven't flown in many months,but Ive been itching to.
      I started a drone channel on TH-cam as well but haven't really done much with it: th-cam.com/channels/t9sJu4WjzVMug7NcgptkiA.html

    • @EbayTurbo

      Usually people have problems with oil leaks because of the oil galley plugs aren't sealing right. Pretty common problem but fixable.
