i'm a bit disappointed that people thought the telemetry setup was "gimmicky". that kinda stuff takes some work to add in, even with drones, there's a bit of extra work adding in a positioning system, but by all means, call it a gimmick. i can't believe they received _that_ much negative feedback. From their own and OUR own research, how many of us have gone out and purchased a US$80.00 GPS module with a free app? Give us what we want and we complain. 🤦♂ great reviews btw!
GPS is a gimmick on a car that does 20mph , if it was a ~50mph car that has a platform worth upgrading for even faster speeds then it would not be a gimmick. People were upset because the preproduction models had GPS but were lacking oil shocks for example, they addresed that at least.
@@darkki94 i don't disagree with that point of view. still, we all know, well most of us in the hobby do, the smaller scale manuf. release brushed first, then brushless. in respect to that "marketechture" decision, you're also right in that the gimmick shoulda been added to the brushless release instead.
@@rogueFactor yep , it makes more sense to make the brushed first without the gimmick at a price that would make noise in the community and then release the brushless version with the gimmick for the people that are willing to spend more , or just sell it separately and get A LOT of sales since many people would by it for their models.

They need to grow this into a 1/12 or 1/10 scale buggy. Separate components is the only way to go, no matter the price. No fail safe?!!
Yeah, didn’t seem to stop when it lost signal, unless I was hitting the throttle without realising

If your laughter and the epic noise the car made whilst powering past you is anything to go by then this thing is Epic! If it makes you laugh for the right reasons then it's a keeper. Nice job Mr Tomley Sir.

The brushed was pretty good. Managed to break my hinge pin brace in about two packs but MJX customer service were really helpful in sourcing new parts. The BL looks like good fun.

Another great video Phil! With all these great little RC’s coming from abroad it’s a shame regarding the delivery time for damaged parts. Maybe someone should bulk order these cars/parts in and sell to the UK market for a quicker turnaround 🤷🏻♂️ keep up the great work.

Hi Phil - great timing, mate! Just got mine in the post this morning so watched this with great interest (as usual!) You did a superb job with the video, all I can do is just follow your lead! Amazing you got that shot with the wheel coming off - I just checked mine and the front wheel nuts are a tad loose. Many thanks for the heads-up, you just saved me losing a wheel! It’s a lot of Fun Mark… all be it a little ‘scatty’ 😅. All 4 (well 3 lol) of my wheel nuts were lose after this run, so worth checking and then checking again half way through. Enjoy it, and I’ll look forward to you video 👌
i recently picked up the "strikingly similar" RLAARLO Truggy model and yeah the wheel "lugs" were loose all the way around! QC ftw!

I do not have any regrets getting both the MJX 16207 and 16209, they are both awesome RC cars. The only upgrade I want for this is to replace the OE TX RX with a Dumbo RC unit with gyro, this small mod will make these RC's silver medal if not gold medal RC cars.

I think that buggy looks great 👌 like a reptiles head huh! Great tires look like they'll last! Lots of people told me lately thier 1/16-1/14 brand new buggies wore off thier tires in five minutes. If I didn't have a Q901 I'd buy it 😎😆

I never really get why the range on some cars/ remotes isn't good! It can't be down to price, as the Dumbo controllers have a massive range!!

Just got one of these.... Have to agree that they are tons of fun.. Reasonably well built and can sustain alot of abuse...just In the terms of fun, it's right up there with my maxx or xrt or infraction 3s

Add a Dumborc (Dumbo RC)transmitter and reciever for massive range, and they're dirt cheap!

I can't wait to my my team associated 14t set up with 3s. I want it to do backflips like this lol. I just wanted a brand with quick parts availability. Trying to figure what esc and motor though. I wish I couget the system out of one of these easily 😆 they look like a blast.the first vid is what made me buy the TA 14t

Like the rims on this one. Too bad about the range. When You said "45amp" I thought it was going to be a paralyzer while it holds up. It's amazing how much mayhem this buggy took. Never have been a fan of the basher setup with the oversized wheels hanging out beyond the body but they are fun to watch go orbital and then stick a carrier landing.
Solid little rc ! wonder if the big boys will start making smaller bashers? Like arrma mini 3s range would be cool

The body isn't arrma style at all. It's tekno rc all over. Take a look at the eb4.10

Yes, was an issue on the speed run… but bashing it, I never got far enough away for it to be a problem

What is the difference in ground clearance between this one and the monster truck version?
I LIKE the looks Mr T. Seems a durable car. Has the underpinnings of a very good car. Cleaning dust/ dirt out of the hexagon chassis bracing would be annoying but the reason at present for not buying one? Dismal range. It's dreadful............

you may lose some top end, but to handle better, may want to mess with the toe in and out to make it more stable, front and rear on stuff thats twitchy handling ;)

Hey... Is it possible to bind and program my own receiver and transmitter with the onboard ESC. Is there a description to program the esc or do I have to change it?

The fastest small car in my fleet - WL 124016, 85kph or 53mph on 3s. Its a freak show!! You wont wipe the smile off your face mate, Seriously a great buy.
I wonder if you threw some wltoys wheels and tires on it if you'd gain speed as that wheel and tire package seems pretty heavy

You need to try runing the brushed one on 3s it is way faster.
Good little buggy.. which was faster? Your brushless or theirs(don't remember how fast yours is).
And I think it looks kinda mean compared to the other buggy bodies. 👍
