Well, rally cars must have turn signal because they drive from stage to stage on public roads..but, turn signals on rc is stupid 😃
Make it really authentic to the real car and drive it around a carpark.

OMG. Every rally car has turn indicator lights! Rally cars needs to be road legal because in-between stages they need to go on public roads! (most of the time)
Yes.. every normal car has them as well, but they don’t come on when you turn the steering wheel 😉

The 14302 Lancia now has a V2 licensed body with spoiler. I have only seen it on the MJX homepage, but it looks nice!
edit: I learned the other day that rally cars are often driven on public roads to get to the next stage, so that's why the plates, lights, and indicators. Cheers!
Saw that new shell on their homepage too. I love my 14302, but I bonked it to high heavens on a pole, split the hood in 2 and can't find replacement part anywhere, hope they release that new shell soon. Been looking for nearly three months now for a new one.

Damn I just recently found a stock of old shells after a week of hunting and bought a few because I thought they were going to discontinue it. 😂 Balls
I do like how sterdy these cars look out to be, hard bashed on that gravel track and nothing more then scratches on the body.

My favorite MJX onroad car. It is badass, bro! If you put a Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL60 ESC you get another 8mph and the throttle control is amazing. It's a big difference with the Hobbywing QUICRUN 10BL60 Brushless ESC. Best 35 dollar upgrade. You can later get the sensored motor to match the ESC but it's not worth it. Runs incredibly with the stick sensorless motor and new ESC. Try it if you have one Phil.

The body is outstanding this MJX series is excellent. They run well, they're fast and they take a beating. I am glad you put it through its paces, but I was a little sad to see that body got a little trashed. Of all of your videos I think the Infraction clone is one of my favorites. Have you ever considered take one of your rally cars and entering them in a rally r/c race?
The attention to detail shown on the body shell design is top class, if only they supplied two like they do with the HyperGo 16 truggies!
Would you race the other TH-camrs on the same indoor carpet track, but on drift wheels and 3S? Might be a new category of fun 🤔

I had stones getting into my old RC car and I just made a cover from lexan and electrical tape. It didn't look good but it worked well.
Got one of the trucks, ordered it in early December, it took about six weeks to get here... and it's basically the new rally car you have there with the truck body... metal shocks, etc... again, thanks, Kevin! Another good tip... just long delivery lag...

Can't wait to see the big MJX crawler on here. Little car wise I'm holding out for the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator. This one looks great but room in the collection is at a premium thanks to Arrma and all their new releases the last 6 months.
You can alwas cut the cables for the blinkers if you don't like them, so it makes sense for the feature to be there from stock

Great video, if you push the on/off switch on the esc 5 times while the car is on it will go into a faster mode.
Different model. This one hasn't got that particular esc. Did you not see the speed runs? It's not going to go any faster!

Disassemble the lights and paint the indicator LEDs with black nail polish, job done. It's what i did with my 14302 👍

my man of taste - I got this 1 week ago (my first RC). Having a hoot, although my 3S hasn't arrived yet. Oh and I've also got a model 3 performance.
Did yours come with a guide for where the stickers were supposed to go? They were all numbered but no reference to where they're supposed to be.

the mjx transmitter is my favorite i only have 1 transmitter to drive my 3 mjx cars they bind so easy turn car on and then transmitter on and they are binded and work on my rechargeble batterys

Hi phill great vid,I was looking at the Citroen mini rally,car being 1/14 would any body shell fit as long as it’s the same body shell?id like yo put a Audi one on but they start at 1/10 I was looking at the mav rc,rally,or the flying fish ones there’s so many to choose from cheers buddy

can you just cut the negative or positive lead to the indicator part of the harness to get rid of the turn signal function?
I tested the truggy with a dumborc the esc definitely has a bad glitch.
It causes bad response time and 100% effect jumping and stability, I'm pretty sure that's classes as a delay😅
If MJX made their parts support more readily available and easier to track down, they would hands down be THE name in small scale RC cars. Im leaving the word "budget" out intentionally because there is nothing "budget" about their performance. For the price, they are some of the best performing rc cars you'll find. They perform like more expensive RC cars.
