Finally!! This is the TTI video I have been waiting for. I have the same holster and seriously have been considering picking one up, not sure why more people don’t consider this for a EDC?! I guess everyone just thinks it’s a composition gun and nothing more. I’ve seen people carry g17 even g34s so I know it’s doable. Looks like it carries well though. Pretty sure this video just sold me on it though! Thanks.. ALSO I have noticed almost everyone has been having the same problem with the mags not wanting to lock back, in my experience its usually the mag spring though not the bullets (grain), I wouldn’t highly recommend just taking the mag plate off and stretching the spring by hand, give it a little more “spring” and can almost guarantee that will fix the problem. From what I have been seeing and reading though sounds like they just make the springs pretty weak from the factory (you’re not the only one). Highly recommend giving that a shot though and if you would get back with me and let me know how it works out! Also lmk what you think of it for a carry gun!? Thanks again and, Great video.

Jesus Hunter, you were an ANIMAL on that double star. I wouldve had to stop and reload those 2 mags 2 or 3 times to have cleared that spinning bullshit hahahaha
I have never seen a gun come with so much including a holster!
And I spent same on MR920 Elite that came in cardboard box and little carrying case.
For EDC MR920 is great it super light and precise as a gun can be.
I guess next year it's Chanik.

I've used only PMC 115g FMJ for over 4000 rounds and never had one hiccup, ever.. Sig 365XL, CZ P10C, and TTI.. Love the TTI...

You're not alone brother! I'm loving my new Mete MC9, but I've been getting quite a few light strikes on it as well. Happening more and more often as the gun breaks in, actually. I'm gonna tear my slide down and see if there's any oil or some other gunk in there locking up my striker assembly. I'll let you know if it does me any good.
MC9 isn't a reliable gun. Shrinking things down cost them in that department. TP9SC Elite is the smallest Canik I would recommend anyone consider.

Great video. Love your content in general. Happy you had a great time. Took out mine and had several double feeds upfront. Used PMC 115 gr… And after more than 10 double feeds over 100 rounds. Stopped. Very disappointed. Will disassemble, lubricate and give it one more try. If same outcome, will get ride of it. Very disappointed.

Your support hand is riding too high and it’s holding the slide catch down which is preventing the slide lock! That’s the reason it did lock back every time you shot dominant hand only.

@@hunter-constantine enough time it’ll be done. I was hoping the M&p over a canik honestly, I’ve ran the early first ones came into country didn’t like the grip. Same time I won $50 out shooting my dad with a police surplus CZ75B 😆
Had to send mine back after 300 rounds. The pistol has trouble going into battery with both recoil springs provided.

I find that my Caniks don't lock back, but it is because my thumb rides the slide stop. If I move by support thumb the issue goes away.

Got mine from Academy Sports today for $853 after tax and military discount. It was priced at $899. Cabelas,Bass pro, Academy and Scheels have them at or below MSRP. Just have to get lucky to snag one when they pop up in stock on the site.
Yeah LGS had one for 900. Think the bad experience a few people have already had has gotten around and people are waiting to grab one. Caniks are generally awesome but still trust M&Ps more long term overall.

I must have gotten lucky. At 600 rounds and zero issues with PMC 115s.
No luck. Just poor manufacturing processes with huge amount of variation in output of production - one great pistol and then one terrible one

Low key my favorite part
Only 3 seconds into the video and have to say, the TTI Combat I received was absolute dog shit. It’s at Canik as we speak as I wait for a resolution. First 250 rounds consisted of double digit malfunctions, most being failure to go fully into battery. This was while firing and also when dropping the slide on an inserted mag. The thing also recoiled significantly more than a comped/ported gun should.

@@hunter-constantine lol, exact same shit you were just shooting. 124 maxx tech. The other two I ran where 115 blazer brass and 124 fiocchi range dynamics. Also put down about 50-75 rounds of 94gr Norma frang before a steel shoot. My first call to Canik the recommended using the light recoil spring that was included. It was no help. I was so let down as I only shoot m&ps and my current competition gun is my 16 year old m&p 9L. Seriously can believe how much muzzle flip there was with the canik I received. I think it is a barrel fitment issue, but will fin out this week.
Glad to see I am not the only one with an absolute crap pistol out of the box.

Update: pistol has been with Canik since May 8. No updated or communication from them at all. Given the garbage customer service, I’m going to sell this POS the moment it comes back. Just bought a M&P metal with threaded barrel last night instead.
