I am working with TH-cam support on the disabled comments problem. I did not disable them, and apologize for that. I love to read the non-mean comments people leave, and hope they can get this resolved soon.
The new TTI Combat from Canik is the new hotness. It is the result of a partnership between Taran Tactical and Canik, and aspires to put John Wick level performance in your hand at a budget friendly price. This is a review of that product.

I have no idea why TH-cam disabled comments. I have fixed it multiple times, but suspect some glitch in the TH-cam matrix. Sorry for that - I really want to know your thoughts - so if comments are not possible - go to my Facebook page and leave one!
TTI Stands for Taran Tactical Innovations
Great production value, as always. Multiple cameras, great lighting, clear audio, great information. Good job!
I have the org. Canik Race Gun. Shooting USPSA. I love my Canik and it's accurate and reliable. At the time I could not afford a 3000 to 5000 race gun. At the time my canik was 619 and it's never let my down. 😊
Which canik are you talking about
Good video. It would be difficult for me to choose this over a CZ Shadow 2 or a Beretta 92xi Squalo though at this price range.
I was thinking the same thing, plus the finish will hold up better in the long run. My LGS has them for $930 but a waiting list to get one. The trigger on it was the best stock trigger I ever felt.
Now this is a nice pistol
I’m so bummed I live in Washington where we can’t buy those! My Rival is my favorite so I’m lusting after this one!
I’d love to see a comparison against the polymer Rival
You should be able to buy this in Washington State. You just have to find someone to ship it to you . The magazines are the issue. If you have the Rival the magazines should fit.
I also lived in Washington State until a couple months ago. I bought several pistols in Washington by finding a vendor on-line that would ship the pistols without the magazines to my local FFL. Of course I didn't receive any discount for the missing mags and I only ordered guns for which I already had magazines pre-ban.
In the end, my ultimate solution was to move to West Virginia but that isn't an option for everyone.
The rival was also my go to.. before I got the tti. It’s amazing
Definitely a soft shooter from my observation & experience with my TP9SF & SC model. Love them both! On the dense for this one.
nice gun
Have an sft that stove piped a few times within the first hundred rounds, several hundred rounds later an has never done it since.
For shooting iron sights I'd take the TP9 SFx for the longer sight radius. But for a red dot I'd seriously look at this TTI Combat.
I wish you would have tested the reduced power spring
The low power spring will stop the 115 grain malfunctions
At 10:30 it looks like there is overspray of the cerakote onto the sight in the dovetail. Is that what I’m seeing?
I believe what that is is the cerakote finish being pushed as the sight was pressed in - like a snow plow effect.
They put the sights on after the cerakote is applied genius 😂😂
Does it shoot better than the S&W 2.0 ? 9mm ?
I have both. The trigger is far superior on the TTI.
Glad , you left the stovepipe in
It's a review, not a marketing video. I try to keep it real.
Oh and if you’re using the Federal Champion 115gr 200 packs, I’ve had accuracy issues and even a split case from those.
I only use it for plinking steel as it seems a below average quality lot.
Where are all my rem oil users at?
Thank you great review good job
Isn’t the recoil a bit too much?
LOL!!!!!
I can't get over just how many weak wristed boys need a compensator for a 9mm pistol! I love to shoot 10mm! Are you kidding me??!! Great marketing ploy by Canik! they have suckered a lot of people.
I think it’s modeled after the Mete.
No, the Rival
Iiii’m pretty sure it’s closer to the Mette…
Jan 28th 2024: “The Firearms Blog” “Over the Mete sfx, the tti combat will get the comp, a better trigger, custom slide, competition sights….” and it goes on. You probably already knew though😬
Actually it’s the mete sf with an improved trigger, the compensation, custom slide, competition sights and so on. You probably already know that though and are being stubborn.
You're both idiots lol. TTI is it's own thing. Taran Butler designed the frame, slide isn't the same as anything else they have. It is it's own animal
👉🇺🇾💨 hi from Uruguay
Hi Uruguay!
@@JustinOpinionChannel 😎 👍
sucks that you go after local businesses 😅
I hate when people call these a budget gun. A $1000 dollars isn’t considered “budget” to me. I’m sure alot of other ppl would agree. Now $200 300 maybe 500 would be budget
I hear you - but other guns built for the same purpose with the same or similar features and performance go for several thousand dollars. The term is relative to the context it is used in. You're not going to find many top competitors using a $300 gun. They spend that much on their belt and holster.
@@JustinOpinionChannel you have to realize that the other guns your referring too that are “several” thousands of dollars are the ones made in the great country we live in so cost is affected by this country from materials that suffer inflation costs. Turkey isn’t any better but I’m sure that plays a part here also I know a few companies off the top that make quality guns for 3 4 or 5 hundred. And I’m not considering cerakoting or other slide work such as ports/windows which is purposefully for aesthetics. I’m talking about the way the gun feels such as ergonomics and longevity from constant use of ccw or simply a fun range gun. Of course other companies offer less for more money but also the name and background I believe plays a huge role as well
Go cry somewhere else. This 100% budget for the class. 😢
Budget is relative. Sounds like what you really hate is your personal budget
It's because you're not thinking about the context dummy
I just cant support or condone Taran Butler. Dude is not a good human being.
I get it, but I don't know they guy and if I had to limit my reviews to only products that are brought to market by the finest human beings with the best possible intentions I'd be out of business.
What is the known issue(s) regarding Taran Butler?
You know nothing about Taran other than what is in the media. Don’t be a sheep.
Innovations not industry***
Thanks.
I wouldn't sell my Rival Darkside to buy this. I like adjustable sights and don't need a compensator on a 9mm.
Legit opinion. I'm working on a comparison between this and the steel frame Rival and find the process very interesting.
@JustinOpinionChannel
I'm looking forward to seeing that, Justin.😊
