I actually made out they were doing a deal I did trade in like 30 PS3 games and a 3 for the PS4 I had to buy Infamous Second Son and Thief for $60 each but yeah definitely man I was excited to actually be able to get into the next generation of gaming it took me forever to finally even get a PS3 lmao but it worked out well
*Infamous 1&2 Remake Double Pack* would be such an instant buy for me. They could be remade fairly easily since they're not all that complex and both be to the same quality if made at the same time. Plus, it'd help the whole 'carry over your save' thing and they could add a few fun extra outfits or something.
You go to the icon, do the thing, collect some stuff, do a story mission, go from zone to zone. Its almost elegant. They're not groundbreaking, or emotionally/philosophically deep or anything but they don't need to be. Just very clean, simple, no-fat games that you can just relax with and have pure fun.
Release it on PC too

Infamous is that one game I will never forget. I never got a chance to play any of those games, but I watched my uncle and was immediately hooked on the series. Keep up the nostalgic videos jayvee!!!

my cousin played it when I was little and didn't even knew the name until one guy in my elementary school (good old days) was talking about a guy in a white hooded outfit and I immediately knew that is what I was looking for

After I got back from Afghanistan in Jan 2010 I came back to this, AC2, Uncharted 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Borderlands, Arkham Asylum and Modern Warfare 2. My post deployment leave was occupied the entire time. My ex wife hated me for it.

A weird thing I never considered is why you can parkour so well: you are magnetic. Obviously that doesn't explain all of his climbing abilities, but the idea of Cole being magnetic and climbing with magnet hands is so cool!
Infamous 2 is my favorite game of all time, I absolutely adore it. I remember begging my parents for a PS4 just so I could play second son and absolutely loving it when I got it.
It was way more sharper on PS3 it was one of the first games my parents got me when the console was still new. I remember being in awe at how detailed it was and how HD it all was. Streaming it does not do it justice.
I loved these game saben I was younger, it was my first real taste of a morality system and a choice system that actually had consequences. I loved the first one but the second one was gold. I even attempted to make my own levels in Infamous 2 and had fun doing that
Cole was an urban courier before the fallout. In the comics they show a bit more of his life before the games start and he was doing parkour before them

Feels horrible every time I remember I can't play Red Dead Redemption 1 or Infamous 1 or 2 on ps4 or ps5, since Australia has some weird connection delay. Wish they'd allow backwards compatibility, not this stupid streaming only gaming. 😭

i love infamous. it got me into gaming and i played the first, second, second son, and first light so much. i remember a lot from the games and love the lore. i desperately want an infamous one and two remake or remaster.
I loved the comic styled cutscenes as it brought nostalgia from my favorite ps2 game Ultimate Spider-man. I beat infamous 1 and 2 plenty of times but would always come back to them as not many games at the time gave you this feeling of power (I never played the prototypes unfortunately but I still have my ps3 so I’m holding out hope)
The cool animated custscenes even carried over to Ghost of Tsushima!

Woo! This was my first PS3 game along with Arkham Asylum. Came bundled together with the system Mom let me buy myself for Christmas. inFamous was an incredible introduction to the new generation of gaming. Would love to see the series revived or at least re-released. PC copies even if I dare to dream such things, lol. Now that I think about it, Second Son was my intro to the following generation of gaming as well. inFamous was just there for me, man. XD

I love this game and it was one of my first ever games I got once my parents bought me a ps3... I instantly got hooked on it for weeks, I wanted to run a good play through as my first but when I got to the last mission I miss clicked and chose the bad option which turns you from 100% good to 100% evil, after completing the game I wanted to do a pure evil playthough and turning good on the last mission but my friend asked traded it with me for crisis and I never saw that game again.
It was my childhood as well, played the absolute hell outta that first game.
I just now got this on eBay actually. Looking forward to eventually playing.

This was a game I first played when the PSN went down and they threw us free games as an apology (remember when companies did cool things like apologize for big fuckups by giving away free shit?). Was on my dad's account. So I recently jailbroke my PS3 for this, the sequel and a couple other games
One thing I liked doing was sbockwaving people into water then electrifying the water.

I’m surprised you don’t remember the intro. I remember the games from my childhood so vividly. Forspoken is kinda like medieval inFamous. Moving around in Forspoken is kind of like using the Neon powers in inFamous Second Son. That’s how I feel about it and I don’t hate that.
The game wasn't designed to be melee focused that's why you're having such a hard time, you even said it yourself that it's designed as 3rd person shooter

If there are potential fans of the anime/manga called "Magi" ! I want to make a crossover of sorts between that show and the original games (neutral karma version), by making some of the anime's characters part of this universe.
But... Where would Alladin fit best ? I know I want his powers to include slower aging and quantic energy manipulation (or whatever it is that allows the Flash manipulate reality to a small scale, except I don't want Alladin to have super speed). But:
-Should he be Kessler's child brought from the future alongside him (this would probably force me to remove the storyline in which Trish is sacrificed) ?
-One of the successful human test subjects that could never be replicated, forcing Kessler to build the Ray Sphere as if it was a bomb ?
He can't be a random citizen turned by the Beast, Cole's Ray Sphere or Bertrand's. His place must be something that gives him insight towards Kessler and the First Sons.
P.S: Could Sinbad fit in somehow as well ? And where and when ?

I'm playing this on the PS3 since the streaming is not even available in my country. Man the game is great but it runs and looks like shit on the PS3. I believe the game goes to 5 fps in some sections. If the game released today with this performance it would be pinned down. I'm glad that nowadays every game launches with a 60 fps mode. Shows how far we have evolved from this in 2009.

I tried second son this year and couldn't finish it because it was so bad compared to the first two.
Imo this game aged so bad, im a xbox person, but i can see this game being fun and it deserves a remake without a doubt. Imagine what they could do in this generation with a theme game like this sheeesh would be awesome.

If this was an Xbox it definitely would get fps boost and maybe a visual facelift.

I'm certain whatever device, most likely their cluster of ps3s to host ps3 games, are dying💀. I don't remember the game being so laggy and jittery, granted there were a lot of framedrops but not as bad as this.
